The age rule under 6 is waived if you sign them up, you click on the disclaimer that Lego will not be held responsible for for injuries caused by the product since they are not old enough for the reccomended age.

Re: sticker preventing resale?

Walmart, Walgreens and other stores have used them on medications and stuff for years. They are to prevent people from reselling them in their own stores or in places like a flea market.

Re: Target Closing All Stores in Canada

Not much LEGO left on the shelf at mine.. in fact people were pulling $80+ sets off the shelf that weren't on sale.. Whether they actually bought them at full price is a mystery.

No lego sets left when I walked in at 6:10 they were limited to whatever stock was on shelf since I saw nothing among the Barbie/tmnt stuff that was on skids by clothing.

Does anyone notice the coupon codes they are offering now all are starting to exclude LEGO? The last two I tried did.

I would assume you are still earning points online as if you were earning them in the store. I wasn't expecting to redeem then online anyway, don't know of many stores that do that.

Re: Lego Shortage at Canadian Independant Toy Retailers?

LEGO's MSRP vs wholesale price is no where near 50% off, in fact it is an even worse deal in Canada compared to the USA. When TRU has sales for 20% off they are basically selling to you at their cost in hopes you get something else with a higher margin.

Re: Lego Shortage at Canadian Independant Toy Retailers?

Not surprising this is going to affect things into Christmas. Year after year LEGO has always shown independent stores the short end of the stick when it comes to fulfilling orders. The LEGO Movie popularity is just an excuse they have this year that they still can't keep production up with demand d...

It was confirmed when the Simpsons' minifigures came out with MSRP of $3.99 that this would be the new price for all CMFs.

After seeing the images the Tow Truck is a retro cab with a hook and lift mechanism towing a Blue Sedan. The Snow Plow is a Green Unimog style truck with Orange back.

Brick & Blue wrote: They already had a $20 set that came with a small dark red car. That's what I meant, 3rd year in a row there's a tow truck. Both of them were priced at $19.99 US, that orange one a flat bed for cars, the blue one last year for year for trucks. I'm thinking this pick up tow t...

Re: Rumored 2015 LEGO Pirates, City, Creator and Chima Sets

Another Tow Truck? Converting to USD is around $33 so I'd assume that is $24.99 to $29.99 USD set. The tow truck out now is a big rig size one so I'd think maybe this is a smaller size tow truck with a pickup truck base, for the price I'd hope it would come with a compact car to tow.

Re: Collectible Minifigures 71007 (Series 12) possible lineu

I have heard that the pricing of future CMF Series will continue on from the $3.99 price point of the Simpsons, but I'm not sure what to think now with a whole lot of chains who priced the Simpsons at $3.49 on release.
