Re: How Many LEGO Events/Conventions Have You Been To?
I was finally able to attend BrickFete in Toronto today (July 19) and I loved it. The displays blew me away. I took 170 pictures and would have taken more if my battery hadn't died in my camera. It was well worth the price of admission. If you are in the Toronto area its on again tomorrow. Check it...

The only problem I see is that you are a Sabres fan Ouch! We stick with the hometown team even when they finish last, because next season HAS to be better! (And fortunately we spend our money on LEGOs instead of season tickets! ;-) ) I'm a Flyers fan ... as you said "Stick with the hometown&qu...

Re: Legoland Discovery Center vs. Lego Store differences?
The legoland at Vaughnmills doesn't offer VIP points and there brick wall is more pricey since it goes by weight and not how much you can fit into a cup. I only go there cause they always seem to have a great selection on poly bag sets which I love. Other then that I stick to the Lego store cause of...

Re: The Hobbit Lonely Mountain 79018
$130? What, are the gold pieces made of real gold? I know, its the Dragon, have to pay for the new molds and all, but still, wow, that's expensive. That would make it $150 or more in Canada. I agree, $150,00 is to much. It looks pretty sweet but ill have to wait till it's on sale and I don't mean 2...

I guess it's hard just to pick one now that I think of it so I also enjoyed the haunted house just because it was different then the others.
Byroads73, I completely agree that the first few you build you definitely get some pretty cool ideas for your own buildings to build.

Re: Polybag Availability in Canada
Hey hey, Lego land discovery store at Vaughn Mills mall has a bunch of the following poly bag sets:
City: Artic 30310
Starwars: 30246
Super Heroes: 30302
They had lots of Freinds poly sets to but can't remember which ones.
