Re: 100's Of Sellers are Selling There B-Wing And Losing Mon

If Lego themselves put a set on sale for 50% off, we know the set sucks and people who brought them for profit were in for a shock, like most are now. Hope those people learned their lessons. I remember the same thing happening with the Rogue Shadow . . . Patience, young Padawan . . .(and storage s...

Re: [USA/CAN] LEGO City Pig Farm & Tractor - 70% off

Man . . . I check this site daily, and a few times a day at that. The ONE day I was a little busy . . .

Got an order in, don't know if I'll get the whole order though, but they're obviously sold out now :(

Selling on Bricklink

I'm getting ready to open a Bricklink store and I have a few questions. I've been selling on Ebay, so am aware of that process, but have only been a buyer from Bricklink and not in quite a while. Is the invoice process similar to Ebay that you send a combined invoice to the buyer and they follow tha...

Re: [USA] Amazon.com LEGO Deals & FREE Shipping Deadline

I haven't bought anything from Target through Amazon, but am assuming they add sales tax. It's much better to go through Target.com and get orders of at least $70(i think) and use the code for $5 off. Who cares if it's a ton of small orders, the $5 adds up quickly. And FREE shipping!

Re: [USA] Amazon.com LEGO Deals & FREE Shipping Deadline

If you want one, buy it now.

If you want multiple, buy one now. Then wait and buy later. No matter what happens, you'll always have one and not be shut out!

Bubbye Stinky?

Woody's Roundup #7594 (with Stinky Pete, get it?) seems to be retired. Not just sold out, but no longer listed.

Other Toy Story soon to follow?

Curious, since the movie series is done, do you think down the road there will be interest in the Toy Story line?

Just tried it and yes, a discount was showing up on the checkout area, but for $4.50? Did other combos and it was the same - $4.50

Sales & Deals -- 2010 vs 2009?

I remember a few deals, but I have a few questions about this year. First though, does anyone else think the days of LS@H offering 50% discount to good sets are a thing of the past? I think their sales and deals department realizes that they will probably sell out just as fast from offering a 25-30%...

Re: Amazon has 25% Off Two or More Select LEGO

I got Erin when I called. She was aware of the problem with the Lego discount. She put me on hold for a few minutes and then told me she would make sure I got the discount applied when I was charged for the items. I placed the order - a few Fire Brigades and Tantive IVs - and gave her the order numb...

you can list 10 different sets from that list and none of them are awarded any discount at checkout at all, other than the current discounted listed . . .

Ditto

Am I reading it right? That you will get an additional 25% off if you select two or more sets from that list? Yet there's no discount of 25% on the checkout page . . .

Re: Clone brands, perceived quality, and LEGO loyalty

I do not have any non-lego brand bricks. Never bought them and just stayed away from them. It does seem that the majority are 100% against another non-Lego brick getting into their tubs of genuine Lego parts. What I'm curious about how they feel about other items like Brickarms accessories? They're ...

Re: [USA] ToysRUs 2 Day Sale 11/19 - 11/20

WooHoo, I found 3 temple of doom sets at my local TRU. I coupled set number 3 with a city fire station. My wife checked out with 2 temple of doom sets and I checked out with the other two, each of us having a coupon for the BOGO sale. They still had one Indiana canal set left but I wasn't as intere...

Wife and I went out to lunch a little later than I had hoped, and I thought these would be sold out by the time I got there. Fortunately, the store wasn't a madhouse and there were a dozen on the shelf. Woot!

Re: Lego Green Grocer 10185 SOLD OUT

Nice! About time they retire that set, if their being sold out truly means that it is retired. But I fell for that the last time it was sold out.

Should be gone for good now though when you consider how long it has been available. Gorgeous set!
