Re: Black Friday Lego deals

LEGOs at Up to 71% Off Kids love LEGOs ... but so do adults. According to our research, the best time to pick up a set will be Black Friday week (the Monday before Black Friday, through Cyber Monday), because the average discount will be 52% off, with some sets seeing a drop of up to 71% off! Furth...

Re: [USA] Creator LEGO Aviation Adventures 31% off

I'm curious to hear opinions on the Aviation Adventure set. It's on its way out this year, and I'm contemplating picking a few up. This is a pretty good price, but it can be found all over for about the same: costco on-line and in store, target.com, etc. I built one last year, and thought it was an ...

Re: boscov's online sale

Though... [20% off] + [15% off] = [68% off] I'm no math expert, I went to art school. But this doesn't add up for me... did you mean the final price paid is 68% OF the original MSRP (as opposed to "off")? That would make more sense... Whoops! 68% off MRSP would be fantastic. But y...

boscov's online sale

boscovs.com is running a 20% off sale on all LEGO. A pretty good selection of sets is available, including Creator, SW, Friends/Princess, and Super Heroes. Free shipping at $49. Enter the code RTLMENOT for an additional 15% off orders of $75+, which brings the discount to a cool 68% of the MSRP. Exa...

No comments, anyone? Too stunned to say anything. Yes. These are great. Thanks for sharing. It's nice to see that Seaside hasn't changed all that much in the years (decades? has it been that long?) since I visited. Seaside was my first ocean fishing experience. Thanks for triggering the memories!

brothers-brick.com is reporting that the Exo Suit is *not* a limited run. So, if you're patient, there should be more available soon.

Re: Target In-Store Pick up $10 off $40

I never did in store pick up, I have a Red Card and never needed to. So I'm curious to the fine print. It says up to four transitions. Does that mean this week or that I can do several orders at once? It's a pretty easy process. Order online, using the 'find in store' and then the 'pickup at this l...

Re: The Lego Movie: Minifigure series gone for good?

Each of previous mystery mini-fig pack series have been one-and-done, and I would be shocked if The Lego Movie series were different. You might come across a random box that was accidentally left in the backroom for a few months, but I don't think you'll see a re-release wave anywhere. Bricklink, Br...

Thanks for posting. 76011 Man-bat Attack is also on the list, and is $13.60 after the discount.

Jabba's Sail Barge 75020 is $94.40 after the discount, but that's not much to crow about.

Re: Help Identifying Older Space Themed Lego Set

You're welcome. It's value/rarity is pretty low, comparatively. Probably worth more in sentimental value than the $30-$40 it would fetch on bricklink. If you have the instructions with it, it will be worth a bit more. But, if you need instructions, at least you know now what to look for. http://www....

Re: Original Lego Set Price

brickset.com has a good catalog on set history, including prices and when the sets were available. The original price isnt much of a guide to its current value, though. Some sets may be worth less, others may be more. Finding similar sets on bricklink.com and ebay will give you a better idea of thei...

Re: Selling Minifigures - Advice

I agree with hatcher---try bricklink or brickowl. Amazon changed their fee structure last month. The referral fee changed from 15% for all toys to "15% w/ $1 minimum". Basically, all items that sell for less than $6.67 are now charged the same referral fee. This change makes selling minifi...
