Re: Friends Store Display FS
I asked that same thing, and she said she'd picked it up at a county auction thinking her grandkids would like it. We have those auctions all the time in our area, but it's usually farm equipment or antiques. Sadly, there's no way to know now how the auction seller got it.

Friends Store Display FS
I have the opportunity to sell a Lego Friends display a neighbor got from a local store. It's a massive display with LED lights, and motion-activated turntable, and about 10 sets inside, including Olivia's House and many others. It looks like this one: http://for-sale.yowcow.com/listing/21929910/&qu...

Re: [USA] Walmart Clearance Sale
Found some clearance deals at the Walmarts in the Twin Cities today:
Avengers Harrier Jet: $55
Tie Fighter: $40
Spiderman and Doc Ock: $22
Batcave: $55
Nothing show-stopping, but decent.

Title: Ralphie's Christmas present from Aunt Clara It's Christmas morning, carols play from the Westinghouse 780x radio, and Ralphie is forced to put on his present from Aunt Clara, who had for years labored under the delusion that he was not only perpetually 4 years old, but also a girl. Little doe...

Re: [Contest] LEGO Spring 2013: Classic Movie Vignette
May we swap out parts of the CMF or combine elements from the CMFs? For instance, if a figure is frowning and has no glasses, may be swap the head for one that is smiling and does have glasses? Would that head need to be a CMF head as well?

SW Advent Calendars down to $24.99 at shop@home!
Just traipsing through and saw the deal in the Sales and Deals section. Lousy calendar, but finally about the right price.

WTT/WTB Friends Polybags
I'm looking to find the new Friends polybags for my kid - the Walmarts around us in MN never carry polybags for some reason. I already traded with a great forum member (melsig) to get 30105, but I'm still looking to get 30102 (desk) and 30103 (car), and any others that have been released. I have sev...

The rules state it is one entry per person. ;-) The rules are here: http://toysnbricks.com/about/contests-prizes-rules/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Perfect. Saw the specific contest results, but hadn't looked into the overarching guidelines. Thanks! One more clarificati...

Hard feelings? No way! I LOVE the idea of making the doors more prominent, and I'll also brainstorm about making that technic pin a little less eye-catching, since it's only purpose is functional. Great help, everybody!Adkinsd12 wrote:

Re: [Entries] Microbuild LEGO Tournament 2012
My only qualm is that it isn't in the minimodular scale. Dakar Hmmm, not sure what I missed. I'd love more insight on how to make it the right scale, if it isn't already. It's built on an 8x8 base and is 10-11 bricks high. The doors and windows, especially, are the same exact scale as the official ...

Re: [Entries] Microbuild LEGO Tournament 2012
Here's my entry: the Church on the Corner. 148 pieces and built with a special surprise: push a brick on the front and the inside lights up, illuminating the stained glass windows and the cross in back. Even lights up the entryway to welcome everyone in! Some pictures show 150 pieces, which includes...
