Looks like I was somewhat lucky, as I found 1 on the shelf at the Vancouver (Broadway) TRU on Sunday, which I happily paid the proper sale price of ~$31 for. It will be a gift for my kid when he turns 5 in April!

I'm guessing the Lego store is opening at the spot where HMV just closed at, it's at the entrance of Safeway and right by the play area for kids. It's also about 2000sq ft. there too. The location you're referring to has become Ingledews for quite some time already... I take my kid to the play area...
