Re: Toys r us possible bankruptcy
But not closing any stores. And even if they did close stores we would need to wait for a 30% off sale before the prices would even be closer to what they should be.

If most of the movie is about them getting stuck on a freaking dino island for a 5th time I might scream.

The one they release in 10 years though will actually have more than 7 minifigures and cost $1,500.

Re: Lego Jurassic World 2: Fallen Kingdom Sets (2018)
Oh I see what you are saying. The Duplo and Junior ones will just be dinosaur sets for little children, but the System sets will be more movie based because they will be older for the PG13 crowd. That's logical, and I hope your right but LEGO doesn't always have the best sets based on movie record. ...

Re: 1400 Employees will be Laid Off - LEGO Group Revenue Dec
I think they need to do more to convince people their product is worth buying for kids and try to reduce the cost of their sets. I love Lego, always have, but it's gotten a lot more expensive than it used to be. It's not just price, it's design. There are several sets a year that are $50-$60 a year...

Re: Lego to axe 1,400 jobs
Are you guys really that surprised that Lego cares about no one, but themselves (the family not the employees)? me? Not one bit, that's all they ever cared about and it shows through every decision they made from changing the colors of grey to bley instead of just making new shade and lying to us a...

Yeah but if you grow 15% every year for 5 years that's amazing. Then when you have profits down like 3% for half a year that doesn't even include Christmas, firing 1,400 people is just pure greed.

LEGO brags that there are minifigures from Episode 5 and 7&8. There are only seven minifigures in the set, there should be minifigures from EVERY damn movie.

It's why I refuse to go to TRU. They hide all the minifigures before the sale. Death Star would be $783 in Japan, that's 50% more, not double. The Falcon will not be under $699.99, not ever. More so because the shipping cost for a rumored 30 pound set will be added into the cost of the set. I think you're agreeing with my price assessment. It really should be this excit...

The employees got a little overanxious at Meijer and I saw the new BB-8 set on the shelf. The other shelves were labeled for new sets, but none were out. Most of the labels just had prices and "E8" but one was labeled for the Elite Praetorian Guard. The sets come out on Friday don't they?...

Death Star is $500 for 4000 pieces. Old Falcon was $500 for 5200 pieces. (And with inflation would be $600 today. Falcon is _____ for 7500 pieces.
