Re: [USA] LEGO LOTR Attack on Weathertop on sale for 29% off
Yeah, that's finally low enough for me to bite. Especially since I had an extra $5 off credit from a promotion. Finally finished wave one of the LotR line...just in time to start looking at Hobbit sets.

Re: Target has Imperial Shuttle for $216
I have only built R2 and not the IS, but I would probably get the shuttle first if I had the cash. Bigger chance of going away soon. R2 looks great and was an interesting build, although it was also a very short build as well. All of the pieces are really small and the finished product is not very l...

Picked up a City Garbage Truck and the 9490 Droid Escape for ~$26. Most of their selection had been pretty picked over by the time I got out there.

Re: LEGO TMNT
The minifigs are going to be the biggest long term gain here. I would not bother with picking them up right away unless you can get a steep discount AND you plan to part out the sets to sell the figures on their own. There will be a lot of AFOLs who want certain figs and don't wan to bother with the...

Re: Amazon Lightning Deals 11/19
That not even a deal, that what you get at Tru with 40% off. Pretty much. The thing about lightning deals under $25 is they are meant to get you to add other products to your cart. It's not always about clearing out excess inventory. Non-prime members can only get free shipping when the order hits ...

Re: Amazon Lightning Deals 11/19
It really depends. For non-LEGO items, Amazon often claims a much higher MSRP...so when it goes on a lightning deal they can claim a massive discount. For example, MSRP on some Blu-Rays is like $50. Retailers never actually charge that though, but it still allows Amazon to claim that $15 lightning d...

Re: Target has Imperial Shuttle for $216
If you want it, get it. IS is one of those sets that could be going soon...or it could hang out for another year. It's hard to tell, but a discount as deep as the one lightning deal last year on Amazon is probably going to be rare. LEGO S@H might discount it on BF for 20-25% off, or they might not. ...

Re: [USA] Target Sale November 18-21
YES! I was very happy to finally add one to my collection. I was going to grab a second copy, but I passed a pre-BF blu-ray display on my way to the toy aisle and opted for copies of The Avengers and Brave instead.brickarmor wrote:Isn't ANYONE excited about The Zombies for $25?!?!?!?

Re: [USA] Target Sale November 18-21
Totally in for a couple copies of the Zombies. Was just at Target today and they had several in stock. It will be my first stop in the morning. I still have my $5 off coupon from the toy book, so two copies for $55+tax seems decent.

Re: Lightning deals on LEGO
The podracers were gone in 5 seconds. Yikes ... How in the world are you supposed to buy these? Should I add them to my cart and checkout as soon as the timer reaches 0? That will not work. You have to claim the deal through the Lightning Deals dashboard. It will not impact any item already in your...

Re: LEGO Elrond Minifigure from Lord of the Rings
Update on my situation: I contacted GameStop CS and they said they are passing on the issue to their premium department to get one sent out to me. I'm still expecting an email to come across saying they are OOS, which means I'll be sending back the game pretty much right away. On returning mail orde...

Re: LEGO Elrond Minifigure from Lord of the Rings
Beware if you preordered this game for home delivery. My DS copy arrived today from GameStop and the minifigure was NOT included. I have emailed customer service, but have seen reports that my case is not an isolated incident. People have said GameStop claims they ran out, which I think is ridiculou...

Re: [USA] Amazon - 9467 Ghost Train for 25% off
Good while it lasted. Pretty sure 25% is the lowest I've seen it, even though it's only a few $$ cheaper than last week. Finally hit a price I'm willing to pay though, as I don't think we will ever see this set drop too much more. Hard to say, after all, it is past Halloween now, and a monster them...
