Re: Pirate Advent Calendar

Word around the 'net is that the Pirate advent calendar is not going to be available in the US.

If true, there will be a lot of very angry legomaniacs around, especially after not being able to get the very cool Castle Advent calendar last year.

Re: [CAN] Walmart Magnaguard Starfighter $40

[CAN] Toys R Us 25% off sale

25% off all Pirates 25% off Count Dooku's Solar Sailor 25% off Creator Motorcycle Set (can't remember the official name) also a BOGO 1/2 price on some Bionicles. Unfortunately, since TRU jacks up the prices on the smaller set by 30% or more, this sale isn't very good for the smaller Pirate sets, and...

[CAN} Walmart Soldier Fort $40

My local Walmart has their Soldier Fort down to $40 from $68. I don't know if this is just my store, or all of them. (Barrie, ONT).

Re: Which new lego star wars & indy summer sets you like most?

I haven't picked up any of them yet (waiting for a sale) but the Battle of Endor is the clear Star Wars winner, with the Echo Base a close second. As for Indy, I like the Venice Canal Chase set, mainly for the 4 new mini figures. Can anyone explain to my why this set, which has 420 pieces and 4 new ...

Re: NEWS - LEGO Universe screenshots revealed

It looks like a fun game, too bad it will be subscription service (ie monthly or yearly fees), which means I won't be playing it.

Re: Not a deal

Pretty much every place you go will have rip offs listed. Ebay, bricklick, etc. You can still find good deals on Lego, but honestly, it is such a hot market right now, especially for out of stock items. It does surprise me that people do not do some research before buying. For example, Rogue Shadows...
