Re: Potential LEGO Ideas Set: Fohzen's LEGO Frozen Elsa's Ic

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but why can't LEGO have people preorder sets using a credit card and then use that to decide whether to produce the sets and then produce a number of sets that approximates the demand?

What parts do you think are in the pyramid in front of the Louvre? I need to build a chandelier.

The more I think about it, the more I think the reindeer should have been molded. TLG goes out of their way to make all kinds of crazy parts these days ... why not make realistic animals, especially when there are 8 of them in each set?

I like the FROZEN set but I wish they had included "Slope 75 2 x 2 x 3 Double Convex" in white. :problem:

Darn, I was hoping for more high-end realistic looking models. Judging from the pictures, this theme was created with playability in mind, not model accuracy. Realistic is relative. Some of us started playing with LEGO cars that looked like this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=600-1 htt...

Re: Wall-E

The eyes have been updated from the original. They look much more expressive. If the design and instructions enabled remote control capability to be added, that would be a big selling point. Wall-E is certainly cute, but leaving him on a shelf when he should be moving around seems like a missed oppo...

For two hundred bucks it should be a remote control vehicle ... and the person driving the vehicle would have the pleasure of rebuilding it several times. :)

All month: FREE Exclusive Creator MINI Cooper Mini Model with purchases of $99 or more! I was amazed to see a real life mini MINI Cooper, actually an antique Austin Cooper. The Austin is in the foreground and the MINI is in the background. :) I took the photo from eye level and I'm not even six fee...

I quite agree. It looks like this set has the deer that Bugs Bunny made out of a wood to trick the Tasmanian Devil.

At first I wondered where you got the curved tiles to top off the curved bricks. On closer inspection I see its more clever than that - very nice.

So what does your pet do when its NOT bath day?

Thanks to TnB for the contest idea, to TLC for the prizes and to everyone who created fun builds and to those who voted! Also thanks to my NLSO for suggesting a concert. (My original idea was to make a Chima Christmas pageant with an eagle as the angel and a pair of wolves as shepherds.)
