Re: Ghostbusters HQ Reaches 10 000 Supporters for LEGO Ideas

I believe this version has the LDD file available on the web, for anyone that wants to try, along with a script to pull the parts list on Bricklink. http://www.swissgb.ch/lego-ghostbusters-hq-v2/ (the download link is at the bottom of the page) And while searching for that, I found Brent Waller's LD...

Re: Availablity Update for LEGO Ideas Exo-Suit & Research In

I stopped by my local Lego store last night. They were out of Exo-Suit sets. I was told to call back Monday morning, when their shipment gets in, and see if they could hold one for me. I was given the same suggestion to call in on Monday morning, but my store only anticipated Research Institute's a...

Re: LEGO Store Calendar, September 2014 (US/CAN)

Yea, they should. The Chima lasts from August 25th until September 14th, and the Spaceman is for September 1st until September 14th.

So any purchases between the 1st and 14th for $99 or more should get you both, assuming they still have them in stock.

Re: Target Summer Clearance 2014?

Found a few City sets at 70% off at one or two of the Phoenix stores still, but most every other clearance has been cleared out and the new Star Wars sets are in their places.

The 9496 - Star Wars Desert Skiff for $16.99 (50% off) also seems to be included in this sale they're doing. It's been available and disappeared and repeated over the last couple hours.

Re: What's the one Expert set you enjoyed building???

I quite enjoyed the Grand Emporium as my first foray into the Expert sets after my dark ages, and the Tower Bridge was a great build, but I think the Fire Brigade would be my favorite, although I've always been partial to fire sets.

Haven't found it in the Phoenix area stores yet either. Love to get the little brother to the full sized version from a few years back.

Re: New Pick-A-Brick Wall Elements in-store

it is $100 now. The K2 boxes are now $100? I purchased one back in January for $70. I was talking to an employee in my store today, and one of the other customers asked the same question. They said the price went up at the start of the year. Right now they (not sure if it was for that specific stor...

Re: New Pick-A-Brick Wall Elements in-store

I made a trip to the store in Chandler, AZ today and they had pretty much all the new items out, and actually said they got the go ahead to put them out a few days before the launch date. Unfortunately, the horses lasted all of the first 2 days the employee I talked to said. So, no MOC's with horses...

Re: First look at LEGO Ideas 21110

I'm disappointed that they added makeup to the minifigures. It seems TLG always puts makeup on female figures and it's a frustrating stereotype  Besides lipstick to make it look like actual lips, there is no other make-up. No blush, no eye shadow, etc. Yes, I believe the white around the scien...
