Re: Lurkers in the Forum
To be fair, there isn't the same amount of new posts each day like some of the bigger sites. Even the sales and deals thread only has about one new topic per day. I check the site a few times a day while at work, but most of the time there isn't anything new. I guess you could also say there would b...

Re: [USA/CAN] LEGOShop.com Further Markdowns
That's funny b/c we were at Burlington tonight, I wonder if we passed each other. I bought mor magnet sets b/c I coulnt pass them up for the price. Plenty of mini dumpers for $3 AND the monthly model build was very calm and not crowded. BONUS! I was there in the early afternoon so I don't think so,...

Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases
My 3 yard sale finds in 3 years of yardsaling. I've probably gone to about 100 sales but sometimes you find some gems. The first was two years ago when I found a kid selling his original Clone Turbo Tank in box for $15 and a Tie Defender for $5. I offered $17 and he took it. The Tank had most of the...

Agents, Star Wars, Creator, Atlantis, SP - new and used
Hi everyone, I have a few sets I'm looking to sell. I have an ebay and bricklink account and have traded in some other forums. I'd like to stick to the US since I don't have much experience with shipping out of the country. The following sets are sealed unless otherwise noted. I have an inventory of...

Re: [USA/CAN] LEGOShop.com Further Markdowns
Just a reminder: physical LEGO stores should price match the on-line sale price if the item is in stock. I took the kids to the mini-build in Burlington, MA tonight, and there were a few things in the "SALE!" section 2 - 7594 Woody's Roundup! (although the boxes were a bit banged up) (40%...

Re: Cafe Corner and Green Grocer - Part Out or Pony Up?
Anyone who would pay $750 for Taj is just stupid. There are no unique parts to it, so you could EASILY just PAB Wall it / Bricklink it for MUCH MUCH cheaper. Tell that to the buyer that paid $850 for the one I had listed on Amazon  For what it's worth, I would keep the sets. It would take fo...

Re: Insights on building 10189 Taj Mahal
I built it quite a few months ago, but if I remember correctly, there wasn't any real organization to the boxes. I remember having to open all of the bags to get to certain pieces. A few of the bags only had one type of piece in it though so it made it a little easier. I remember my wife and I spent...

A couple of clearance sets at Walmart - 30% off
All this talk about the huge Target clearance made me curious to see what Walmart had to offer so I stopped in yesterday and found these: 7948 Kingdoms Outpost Attack - $14 7947 Kingdoms Prison Tower Rescue - $35 7596 Trash Compactor Escape - $35 7594 Woody's Roundup - $35 3847 Magma Monster - $7 Th...

Re: 75% off at Target on clearance Lego sets!
Lol, no, not all in one day. I meant to say Salem, NH, not MA. Though my buddy went to the Salem, MA on Friday and didn't see anything. I work in Saugus and the Target is only about a mile away, so I went to that one on Thursday. I also forgot to mention Woburn, which I also went to on Thursday beca...

Re: 75% off at Target on clearance Lego sets!
I've been to 4 or 5 in the MA area and only found a couple of things including the Technic Motorcycle for $20, TS Trash Compactor for $12.50, Ultimate Blue Bucket set for $12.50, Kingdoms prison carriage for $2.50, and a small Atlantis set for $2.50. I think most of the good stuff is gone by now tho...

New from MA
Hi everyone. I was browsing some Lego forums and came across this site as the go to place for deals. I've been building with Lego since I was small. My parents didn't have much money so I would only get 1 or 2 sets a year. Now that I have a disposable income, I'm buying all the sets past me always w...
