[Entries] Winter Village Market Vendors Needed!

^^ Nice entry, but be careful of the overhang. You may want to remove the icicles. Per the contest rules thread: The booth structure should follow suit with those in the image - so, no overhang of the 6x10 or 12x10 footprint. The minifigures can be wherever, but there should be room inside the booth...

Re: Minifigure trading at LEGO Discovery Center(s)

I did this at the Boston Discovery Center this past summer. I took my plain minifigs and got Homer, the Bumble Bee CMF, and a vampire hunter from the Monster Fighters line.

Re: LEGO fight Against Chinese counterfeit LEGO

I thought about buying some of the counterfeit figs for my son, but I'm worried about quality control. Obviously, they don't care as much as Lego does so who knows if what they're using to make these figures. Do you guys remember that whole lead paint scare?

That's too bad. I was looking forward to taking my sons to it once they were old enough. At least there's still TRU.

SpaceViking, are you from MA also?

Re: LEGO Modular Building 10218 Pet Shop Back Instock

I have to grab this too before it goes out of stock.

^^I'm wondering about the Town Hall now too. I didn't think it would retire before the Toy Shop and now it looks like I may have missed out. My only hope is that since it didn't say it was "retiring soon" it may come back.

All the polys in my area are at the front checkout and scan at $3.99 unfortunately. They are all labeled assorted play sets or something like that on the price scanner.

I wonder if this is why they got rid of the free PaB box this year.

Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases

I got a bin of Lego for $20. Some notable sets are the Freeco speeder, A-wing, UFO mothership, and Dobby's Release. I also found a Whitecap Bay set, but it's only a few parts and a couple of the minifigs. It looks like they are far from complete though so I will have to just separate them out. I'm a...

Free Kre-O Transformers build at TRU 6-28

I think the Prince of Persia sets have. I remember the castle selling for around $50-$60 when the retail was $80. I haven't checked in a couple of months though.

Re: Legoland Florida Help, Exclusive Items???

I was there last year in July and they had a couple of hard to find things like melsig said, but nothing great. I missed the brick engraving somehow though. It's too bad because I don't think we're going back anytime soon.

Re: LEGO as piñata filler

How about putting them in those bubbles you get from vending machines? You could even get smaller ones so you could split the hair/head/torso/pants so the kids could create their own figure. I haven't looked into pricing but I doubt those plastic balls are expensive. EDIT: About 7.00 for 100 (could...

Re: Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham video game

Looks awesome, and seems to have the same humor as the Lego movie. I want to play this, but I'll wait till it hits $5 after a few months like all the other Lego games do. Besides, I still have to finish Lego Marvel and the first Lego Batman.
