Hoho...just visited Oakridge Zellers @ Vancouver and there were over 30 boxes of them. THIRTY!!!

Went by the TRU @ Vancouver and they were there. Not sure about the Hogwarts Castle but the smaller sets were.

Saw Dobby release, the burrow, and the quiditch match.

i went to TRU Vancouver today and they still have a small bucket of them.
All of them are commons and nothing to note.

Will go again tomorrow for a final look cause I was in a rush today.

selection at the zellers in oakridge center, Vancouver was very thin. Fortunately, they have new stock but those come out tomorrow.

interestingly, when I bought some kid's Lego collection off craiglist's, I got one of those battlepacks with the anti-air turret. The spartans are fairly detailed but the weapons were somewhat meh. Fun to play with though, pitting them against clone troopers.

just to note that the atlantis temple set has a gold spartan helmet.=D I'm just interested in the atlantis stuff at the moment and some of the star wars sets (Mando..oh yeah) but I'll not happy about the clear yellow cockpits windows...I liked the neon-green stuff. I find the whole mummy/undead thing slightly disturbing. In comparison to this year's release, Lego has sure upped the level on the supernatural. Atlantis I can deal with as it is mutated sea creatures. Not to say they aren't well designed. Then again the movie "The Mummy" scared the heck ...

this just increases my hopes of a Greek-esque theme.

Imagine the faces of the collectors who dished out $10 per spartan figs and their sellers as Lego releases such a theme. perhaps a Hercules theme or an castle subset with Spartans vs Athenians??
