Re: 10242 MINI Cooper MK VII LEGO Revealed

$100 for a non-minifigure 1077p creator-like set???? Looks like it's a rip-off just like the fairground set. $79.99 would be a better price. Pass. $99.99 / 1077 pieces = $0.09 per piece for a licensed set. That's a pretty darn good deal if you ask me. lol, you are one of those people who buy into t...

Re: 10242 MINI Cooper MK VII LEGO Revealed

Ugly side door with all those oddly shaped brick sides. Why not make the sides a bit more uniform? $100 for a non-minifigure 1077p creator-like set???? Looks like it's a rip-off just like the fairground set. $79.99 would be a better price. Pass. How do you justify a 4" x 6" model for $100!...

Re: 10244 LEGO Fairground Mixer

The flip out ride is cool, but it's got 1750 extremely small pieces. So $150 for a bunch of 1x1 circular plates is a no go for me. For $99-119 though it would be a nice set. For $150 it's an overpriced semi and extra truck. Compacted this looks like a deluxe version of the $34.99 police surveillance...

Re: ToysRUs Spider-Man poly bag free with purchase of LEGO

Beware...I bought a SW poly and got the Spider-Man poly. I had my daughter's $3 birthday reward. Well it reduced both items and gave me the Spider-Man one "free", but it cheated me out of $1.41. I had to go to the service desk to fix it. So just watch your receipts. LEGO 30244 SW ANAKIN 2...

With the Amazon/Target BOGO 40% deals combined with 25% normal discounts, I didn't see anything even 30% off with deal.

Re: 75058 LEGO Star Wars MTT (2014 Version)

This is a set (7662, the old one) that I'm looking to buy because I think it's awesome.

But this new set is AWFUL. Smaller, doesn't fit many droids...it's main purpose. What a ugly POS. Hope LEGO doesn't release that 75% sized-version of a good set 7662.

Re: [USA] New Ultra Agents/Creator sets spotted at Toys R Us

I just went to the Blaine, MN TRS and they had all the new agents, a few new ninjago, and 3-4 of the city artic sets. Also some train stuff from the new line.

Re: Lego May the 4th sneek peak

Yea I think I'm officially done ordering from shop@home. No point if they are just going to cancel orders. I didn't even place that many (2). They are all cancelled, even the pending ones now. I know they are trying to catch resellers, but what's the point of pissing off so many legit customers to d...

Re: Lego May the 4th sneek peak

Steve, Did they cancel your ENTIRE order? When the Martian Manhunter minifigure was available, I ordered Palpatine's Arrest to reach the $75 to get the MM minifigure. Apparently they sold out of the Arrest, so they cancelled that part of my order, but they still sent the MM minifigure! Yea. The ent...

It's because they knew the sale was going to suck.

I'm guessing that's what it is, but I've heard that some are getting ALL their orders cancelled.

LEGO must not want our business.

Re: Simpsons Minifigures @ TRU

So you like stealing the rare figures that are meant to be rare? Good job stealing a rare figure from some kid who is honest about it. You don't like getting duplicates? Imagine the person that buys 20, 30, 40 of these only to find that it has NO rare figs in it because you picked them over. Congrat...

Re: Simpsons Minifigures @ TRU

Maybe the point is for this to be a mystery and that some kid has the chance of getting a rare item. Now some poor honest person buys a pack and get a low chance of getting a rare figure because everyone sorts through them. lol at you wanting sympathy for not making it easier. If you want a set, buy...

For higher quality products, you can go for Mega Bloks or KRE-O. I'll call shens, but it I hope it's not. I've put together Mega Bloks sets and I'm actually a bit impressed at them....IF...a big IF, you consider the price which should be a fraction of LEGO. You get some unique bricks, although mixi...

Re: Offical LEGO Star Wars Press Release: 75059 Sandcrawler

What is with LEGO bloating piece count so they can charge more? It looks pretty close in size to the old one at 1700 pieces. So basically, they use tons of annoying little pieces and plates that fall apart vs. the sturdy one 10144. Lego fails again. It looks nice, but lego just refuses to use standa...
