tracking pieces and sets software?

I am currently using Brickstore to track all my loose lego and it works like a charm (Although i have fallen behind and will undoubtably have to do a re-count!!! With that said, i'd love to also have separate of this an inventory of pieces available from all the sets i own. I don't want to have it i...

Re: Barnes & Noble Canadian Customs

That's right.... You folks out West scrapped the HST. I didn't think it had been implemented.... I would have thought it would still be 12%. Regardless, I still do not quite legally understand how they could charge though a foreign tax on your behalf......

Ah well, whatever works....

Re: Barnes & Noble Canadian Customs

Are you certain that B&N charges you GST? I highly doubt a US firm is charging you Cdn taxes (But i have been known to be wrong before)....

Re: Why No Good LEGO Deals for Amazon Canada?

We are soo close to par that i really can't see the variance being a deal breaker?? I buy almost all my lego state side and ship it. I am about 25 minutes from the US border in upstate NY. I ship it to a UPS store that caters to Cdn's like me who want to take advantage of the huge price variance. A ...

Re: General LEGO city or platform layout (PICS) suggestions

Thanks for the commentary... I really like the split Bridge idea!!! I am going to have to look at that. My intent was to make dirt roads however my son really likes the roads.... Not sure if i am going to win that one :) As for the 3rd modular, it's a variant on a plan i purchased online some time a...

General LEGO city or platform layout (PICS) suggestions

Hi all, I have been working on a layout for my sets to accomodate both my desires to build a city as well as my Son's love of Medieval themes (Kingdoms, Castles, POTC, HP) and so far it's been a challenge :) On the city side today i just started trying to add tracks to the existing scheme. My first ...

Re: [CAN] Zellers 50%-off One Item

Well, this was a screamin' deal no matter how you look at it from a Cdn perspective... My only regret was not reacting to it quicker to maximize the opportunity as opposed to when i did apply it, which was only yesterday!!! My total count is: 3 X Log Cabins 1 X Naboo Starfighter\ 1 X T6 Jedi Shuttle...

Re: [CAN] Zellers 50%-off One Item

Is this still good today (Saturday) as well or was yesterday the last kick at the can? I picked up two log cabins yesterday and the cashier mentioned that today (Yesterday) was the last day.....?

I JUST might venture out again this AM and grab a few SW sets if today is still a go...

Re: [US/CA] LEGOShop Boxing Day 2011 LEGO Deals

Would be amazing to get the Fire Brigade at50% off, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high, 20-30% off is good too. If this is going to happen, it will be my first ever modular building. Might also try and ship out this order to Point Roberts and save some cash, but might get dinged at the border....

Re: [USA] TRU BOGO 50% Star Wars, HP, Cars - Nov 26

Who has a BOGO on HP lego but only has 50% of the stock available online and of those, 90% are all the lowest priced??? Oh yeah, TRU does.. Dumb, dumb, dumb. At first i could not relate to those who repeatedly posted on here stating all the negativity towards TRU. Now i am starting to see why......

It has started kicking in on certain items (HP) but not all except SW or Mindstorm like the ad states. It does say at the bottom of email flyer that it starts at 9AM EST of the day of the say though....

Just got Diagon ally for $75.00 :)
