Re: Current B&N Coupon Codes
I used the 20% off coupon on the new CIty Museum set... $50 and some change for that set is a great deal. I don't see it hitting much lower than that anywhere else for quite a while, and since they only had one copy I suspect it will be hard to find at B&N in the future.

Re: Current B&N Coupon Codes
Interesting. The last two times someone reported a 15% coupon, I got a 20% coupon. My lucky day, I guess.

Re: Chase McCain promo at Target for only a buck!
Target restocked these with a second wave because the release of the game was pushed back several months. by now, most people who actually wanted to pre-order the game have probably forgotten about it, so they released these again to get a new round of people interested.

Re: ToysRUS CHIMA Challenge Saturday 26th 12-2PM
Our local TRU once again did a less than spectacular job with this LEGO event. They didn't start setting up until the scheduled start time, so lots of kids and parents were waiting around for it to start. The first thing they setup was a TV playing the episodes that were on the Cartoon Network. They...

3.) Third, members posting on this site said they were finding them clearance priced at Walmart with the other clearance sets the day after Christmas. Not very common to clearance a set just to bring it back in a month. This one means nothing. I've seen Wal Mart mark down everything in the LEGO ais...

Re: Has anyone elses Toys R Us gone COMPLETELY out of their
Gee, I can't imagine why their sales were down. Could it be because a large number of people are smart enough to figure out when something is marked up by 57% (Bag End set mentioned above)? I think they got greedy. They assumed that because people were buying things when they were marked up by 10%, ...

Signed up my daughter for the Friends meeting and my son for the City... they'd probably both like to do both, but I don't want my kids to monopolize all of the LEGO Club meeting spots and those $20 fees add up quickly. This way they each get a special day with daddy. Let's hope for good weather sin...

Re: Lego Shop@home Ripping off Canadians
Isn't it obvious why LEGO won't ship to these services? To avoid credit card fraud. LEGO has gotten slammed over the past two years with fraud. This isn't some conspiracy to get those of you who figured a way around LEGO's higher prices in Canada, this is anti-fraud pure and simple.

Re: B&N Black Friday 2012 Sale
I was able to double BOGO and 30%, but only in the most unfavorable interpretation (30 off one and 50 off the other of two identical items). Still, I got Technic sets for 40% off net, which is not a common deal since they are not carried by Target or Walmart. Get them while you can. Apparently Tech...

Re: Toys R Us Black Friday Deal
They've got a 10% off $125 or more purchase right now that appears to stack with sets that are $25 off $100. I haven't gone all the way through checkout but the 10% seems to be taken off the pre $25 discount price. If you missed out on getting the Red Cargo Train (3677) from LEGO then you can get o...

Re: Toys R Us Black Friday Deal
Unfortunately you can not stack the Groupon with ANY of their other promotions. Tried with the 20% off coupon and with the $25 off a set over $100 deal. No dice. I was able to stack the groupon with a 20% coupon that I had, someone in another thread thinks it will work with a 20% item coupon but no...

Re: [USA] ToysRUs $10 for $20 Worth of Toys
It worked for me with the 20% coupon I had in my email... I thought that was a 20% transaction coupon but maybe it was a 20% item coupon. Both the cashier and I were surprised that it worked.

So what's the logic of not stacking the scratch cards with the sale prices in the store, but stacking the 10% with the sale prices online? Seems inconsistent.

Re: I e-mailed Lego About Their Lousy Black Friday Sale
While this isn't much of a sale, I haven't seen anything better at any other retailer. Personally I was happy with LEGO's sale because I got two sets I want (Cargo Train and Seaside House) at a 28% total discount, which is a good price point for LEGO. I wonder how many of those complaining the loude...

Re: Shop @ Home and LEGO stores USA
The sale list came in really handy. Had my order built since last night waiting in my cart, and was able to check-out within a few minutes of 11pm CST. All the prices updated in my cart automatically. Snagged the Red Cargo Train and the Seaside House, both high on my want list. Also added a few stoc...

Re: Amazon Lighthouse Island $30.97
This set is hard to find for more than 25% off. I searched for a long time and eventually settled on around that discount percentage. It's a great set and getting hard to find, so I wouldn't be turned off by this price.

No, it's not the weekly flyer that comes in the local newspaper. They send these out a few times a year for big sales, and they often give you a coupon card tacked to the catalog. I'm not sure how we got on their mailing list, maybe for signing up for their rewards program?

Re: [US/CA] LEGO Retiring Medieval Market Village + More
Backordered because the warehouse that does fulfillment for shop.lego.com orders isn't the master warehouse and there are likely more on planes/trains/ships/trucks en route from the factory or main warehouse to the shop.lego.com fulfillment center. Think of shop.lego.com as a really big LEGO retail ...

Re: Shopko.com Jabbas Palace and MF Vampyre Castle 25% deals
I get the Shopko catalogs in the mail, and they had an additional $15 off of $75 coupon. Added a bit of filler and picked up mine for about $55 in the store.
I feel like I've moved to bizarro world. Shopko having the best price on an item... never thought I'd see that.

Re: Target Black Friday USA
Interesting. I was wondering why the Black Pearl was suddenly back in stock at Target, so this explains it. Apparently my Target is one that is putting out their stock for sale now, albeit at msrp. I also saw the Duply trains, first time I've noticed them in Target. Neither will get me out of bed on...
