Just checked my email and I was send a special promo code to use online or you can use your rewards card in-store.

Since I missed the clearance on Walmart and Target I went ahead and place an online order with the promo code for the 50% discount. I rarely use TRU but this time it was the way to go to be able to get the special price, even though the Titan (70709) has a $10 mark up from the original MSRP.
My local TRU has no Titan.

It still a good deal, considering the other alternatives.

Tru black friday deals started today for reward members. They sent a unique promo code to my email. So i got the galaxy squad titan for 54.99 with free shipping, and now i can skip going to the store this thursday. :)

I stopped by the TRU today and picked up two of Galaxy Squad sets I didn't have duplicates of, which I wanted another copy of. 50% off with the reward card. Good through 11/26/14 per the printed sign. The and city and castle sets were not on sale however.

Went online and got the Galactic Titan and Vermin Vaporizer. Wanted the sets anyway, but am I the only one who feels they jumped on this deal largely because it seems to be one of the few that are happening this year?

If you don't subscribe to the TRU emails you don't get a code sent, I had to call CS and get a code.

I really want that, but really don't want to step foot in a TRU.

Interestingly there seems to be a limit on how many different types of sets you can get. If you try ordering 6 (or all) of the GS sets the first 5 listed are 50% off the others are regular price.

IIRC there was a five per order limit. Not sure where I saw that.

70701 is finally in stock online so I'm going to do a second order I think. Still might hit TRU tonight to see if the Dareth polybag is around yet.

EDIT: Bought 2 of 70701 and a 70702. Think I'm done with Galaxy Squad unless I am tempted at TRU in-store.

would anyone who is able to take advantage of this deal be kind enough to help me out by ordering 3 of the 70701 Swarm Interceptor? (Assuming they're ~$11 each.) I can pay for the sets + shipping via PayPal. My gf now lives in Bellingham, WA, so shipping to me is now less hassle. :D

the swarm interceptor is 24.99 in store, a 5 dollar mark up i don't like.

besides that i loaded up on:

4 cater creepers for 8.50 (already on sale for 17.99) all they had
4 of the smallest set for 6.50 all they had
3 eradicator mechs for 19.98 (left one)

probably going back for a hive crawler or a galactic titan.

I'm hoping somehow galactic titan will show up again online, but I'm doubtful.

I was going to buy a bunch and then I realize I have no use at all for all the insect bug sets, they look fine, but I will never reuse the pieces or display them. So I think I'm only going to get another Swarm Interceptor and a small alien set (the best one).
