First Images of 71007 LEGO Series Minifigures 12

Post by Toys N Bricks » Sat May 31, 2014 8:08 pm

A Japanese blog has posted images for six of the 12 LEGO Series 12 Minifigures. It appears the picture originated from a teaser advertisement for LEGO Simpsons Minifigures. This series will be available beginning October 2014. (via Eurobricks)

Must have the Battle Goddess. Love the helmet with hair, printing on the shield, and torso. Both the Video Game Guy and Dino Tracker have sleeves printed on arms like the Simpsons. I guess we'll see more of this in the future?

Is anyone else wondering why there are Lego Movie figures inside the Simpson's figures box?

It appears that these figures will be an okay set. Nothing to great that hasn't been done before. But the accessories appear to be decent.

I would be all about the wizard buuuut... I'm not a big fan of that slope for legs. Mine always seem to all end up falling off at the slightest bump. Maybe I just clumsy but I still prefer regular old legs.

I couldn't agree more. I've often wondered why they don't create a special slop with taller "studs" like the legs or even create legs that are slope shaped (slope with split so they can move like legs). Still I'll have to buy the wizard.

While I'm ranting... Make mini legs that move! I probably would have collected all of the Hobbit and LOTR minifigs IF they had poseable legs. I instead only bought a few of my favorites or ones with parts that I liked for MOC's. Seriously forget arm printing and even leg printing. Make mini legs that can be posed.

Some of those are nice, but they are not $4 nice. The Roman goddess seems cool though.

In the new LEGO Magazine there is an add for a new (horrible) LEGO app and with it there is a guy in a pig suit, a goth girl and doll, and a country hick mini figure that I would guess would be from series 12.

Thank you Brick & Blue! I had not seen them yet.

Here are two photo's that I found at bricksandbloks (via google image seach)

I really like the "spooky girl" (Cool hair piece, black and white striped socks and creepy teddy bear) Her face looks interesting too.

Oh good you found pictures, I was tired and lazy. :)

I think the hair piece is from a Harry Potter character, but new to black. The hick guy looks exactly like the robot one from the movie series without the awesome hat.

Too bad they will be $4, really need a TRU sale then.

Its cool :) Glad you alerted me to them. I google series 12 at least once a week but because of the LEGO Movie and LEGO simpsons its hard to get actual series 12 results so I'm glad that you posted. I was very curious about what "spooky girl" meant. I'm glad to see a picture of her finally.

I was lucky with Meijers with the Simpsons figures (even though I only bought 5). They sold them for $2.99. Hopefully Meijer's continues to do so with the LEGO blindbags a little longer (If I could be so lucky)

Thank you dho7622u! Even if its not the best series produced so far its a good one with several minifigs and parts I must have. I hope that the Battle Goddess (not sure about official names for any one them yet... forgive me if I call them by incorrect names) isn't one of the most rare because I think she will a be popular one. I'm not sure how I feel about the genie being yellow skin. I was sort of hoping she would be a less common color like the original genie... Maybe pink? That could have be interesting. Still I suppose her torso could be more useful with yellow skin for creating other minifigs with the torso. I'm not sure which is my favorite yet. I must have the "scary girl", Battle Goddess and Pig suit guy for sure. My son is crazy about the printed tile for the gamer minifig. I loved the pink hair on the female rocker in an earlier series so I'm happy to see it released in black.

Thanks for the image. This set is one of the worst in CMF. Not impressive  . I just like the pig suit guy, scary girl, video gamer, and Battle Goddess.

The good news is that I could save my money for UCS Tumbler and Ewok Village.

After having a year to plan this series, and a 25% outrageous price increase I must say these are really lacking!

The top right four I like and would be useful and different to me, but only on sale.

Like all the series, this is the "best" and "worst"
Honestly only one I want Is space miner. Will get 3 or 4.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

I havent stopped collecting them, but I'm with you... this series looks really good to me.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

I've been getting less and less as the Series kept going. I think the last time I grabbed the entire run was Series 4 or 5.
