Do these have power functions in them - i.e. pull back and they go forward?

The cars are too small hold a Power Function motor or battery pack. Lego does not currently make a mini or micro motor or battery pack. However, if the minifigure cockpit is remove there looks to be enough space so one could retrofitted a 9 volt train motor inside - that would allow the car to run on a 9 volt train track. Technic pull back motor are pretty bulky -- I would use a Chima-like ripcord flywheel motor.

I love these! Nice detail and it's different to get such a legit car on the minifig scale. Will definitely be picking some up.
