The box art for this one included a soldier... I wonder if that's being revised. Of course, the image still includes a rocket launcher, and I don't know many famers who have military hardware hanging around.

Yeah I looked at the other pictures and it does come with a soldier, weird it's missing. They need a soldier because otherwise the road blocks and flick missile wouldn't make sense with the set. Like you said, why would a farm have the Alien Defense things.

Looks like the soldiers have the same printing as SP3 pants, but in blue! Cool!

I have yet to understand why the Alien defender 7050 is $25 CDN..It looks like a $15 set at most.

I really like 7066 Earth Defence HQ
And really like that they used the same legs and torso (repainted) on the alien that is on CMF3 Space Villian!

So happy they made some new weapons! I was tired of the rather vague ones being used everywhere and Brickforge and other third party LEGO supplies being the only other option.

That polybag is really cool, but I fear it includes the least amount of pieces I've seen for a set (not counting CMF).

Yeah that is not worth the likely $4 it will cost at Target. I rather just get the $5 set that includes an Earth soldier and an alien.

Ya, but that Neck piece for the rocket-pack jet isn't very common anymore.. but I agree it does seem a bit overpriced. Maybe they will sneak it in at $3.50
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

I hadn't thought about the marginal price difference between this polybag and the impulse set, but still... this guy's pretty awesome. I'll just get a couple of each ;)

Not if you can just buy the cheapest set for Alien Conquest you wont. The polybag prices are getting ridiculous. That's like $3 tops of LEGO there.
