the more I look a the sets, the more i like them.
I might have to get most of them.
I do like dinosaurs, and so do my kids.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Yeah, I'm glad to see some themes in different 'main' colors, like the yellow here - I could use a good influx of yellow pieces.

Same here. I picked up way too many Bley Star Wars sets.

They used yellow for the Alpha Raiders sets a few years ago.

I don't mind the yellow, but a little more of another color to off set it would have been nice. My main problem is that the sets look like the Dino Attack / Dino 2010 sets from a few years ago and those were in lovely dark red. i think a dark green with some lime green mixed in would have been lovely.

Some of the dinosaurs look like Land before Time... like this one.

Give him a little smile with some shrinking and we have a cute little dinosaur.

Cera only has one horn, not three. Baby Triceratps do not have three horns, just one.

Lego fixed the helicopter as they were given notice of it resembling a Hind (the old one i mean). And that air plane can easily be modded to be an AC-130 :)

The one in the T-Rex set? It's a Sikorsky Skycrane.

Piece counts are really insane for this line. Then again the dinos are jacking the price up.
set number / piece count
-5882: 80
-5883: ?
-5884: 255
-5885: 269 (?!)
-5886: 480 (?!?!)
-5887: 793

I've posted some photos from Dino Ambush Attack (5882) on my flickr feed:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/sidersdd/s ... 957051763/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The dinosaur is disappointing. It's all rubber. Minifig, tranquilizer gun, and lime green syringe are nice though. No stickers too - the front of the off-road vehicle is a printed part.

I really love the minifigures, but they will need to be about 40% off before I buy the sets. Just insanely overpriced.

I wonder if the rest of the minifigs will have a second face. From the looks of them the 'pilot' from the pteranodon sets and guy with glasses from the triceratops set could have (wearing helmets to hide it) and possibly the woman from the HQ set (hairpiece) the others probably wouldn't, but only time will tell.

5883 is "Pteranodon Tower"
and
5882 is "Coelophysis Ambush"

odd the website has different name than my order receipt

yes of course. the syringe piece fits in mf's hand, the binoculars and telescope also fit in mf's hand. so by extension, they should also fit on the clip piece if the syringe fits.
