New 2010 Lego Games

Post by Legopilot » Tue Jun 01, 2010 3:44 pm

New 2010 Lego games found at Brickset's database. Orient Bazaar has lots of nice gold pieces from prince of persia and meteor strike is just like a pinball machine game. Lego games is really blasting beyond the board games now.

Ooooh, the Orient Bazaar game looks like a cache of minifig accessories! Looks like it could be a parts pack for anyone looking to build a perfume shop or a boutique of some sort.

'Meteor Strike' looks like 'Plinko' from 'The Price Is Right' in LEGO form! AWESOME!

They always come out in the UK before coming out in N. America. I think we're still waiting on some of the other older games to be released. I'm super excited for the Orient Bazaar and the Hogwart's Challenge. Both have a plethora of good pieces that I'm sure everyone will be dying to get their hands on. I bought the Monster 4 game for the heads and I wasn't disappointed. The game itself was pretty fun too.

My guesses:

Orient Bazaar will be some sort of collection game. The rounded flat pieces will work as some sort of currency. You use this currency to purchase those perfume bottles or crystals. You either have to match or collect a certain 3 before everyone else does. The guy in the center probably takes away some pieces or something of the sort like they have in other games.

Meteor Strike, believe it or not, looks like an old arcade game where you try to avoid the meteors that are falling down by placing blockers in front of your 'spaceship.' It will probably be something of that sort.

I bet this will be somewhere around $40-50 bucks from the size of these games.

No way. You've got to look at the prices of the current games that they have available. Creationary, which is the biggest game to date, is 338 pieces and is priced at $35. Neither of these games comes even close to that. Orient Bazaar will most likely fall into the $15-$20 range, seeing as it doesn't have a baseplate. The other game might be considered somewhere between $20-$30 depending on whether or not LEGO is generous with the plates provided. If they are it will most likely be $20 rather than the upwards $30 like the ones that come with a baseplate.

I just noticed the Classic Space logo on the tile that goes with the die on Meteor Strike!
