Re: Kingdoms Battle Packs
More great shopping news. This site is really on the ball for this stuff. I'm not too thrilled personally for the Kingdoms sets. They just aren't very original. I guess the thrill of the mandatory catapult/tower/jail/castle is getting to me.

the battle packs look rather nice...especially the dragon knights set.
and Yeah I do agree. I think what would be nice is if lego castle incorporated serfs/peasants into their sets. I personally think it would add more playability

Re: Kingdoms Battle Packs
The Medieval Market seems like their holy grail of an answer but its just not enough. Even incorporating one or two figs in a few sets would make all the difference. LEGO appears to step over a huge part of actual medieval history: the feudal system. Yeah it was horrible but most people that served the kings (and there were a lot of kings) were not soldiers full time. Most people were peasant farmers all the time except for war. I would love to see a medieval farm once in a while.tired wrote:

Ya, but LEGO is a child's toy and children find knights and soldier far more fun to play with than serfs and peasants. I don't think there are many children interested in recreating the feudal system.
Re: Kingdoms Battle Packs
I like the new enemies dragon. Did anyone notice they are almost the same except for their colours and their logo?
Re: Kingdoms Battle Packs
I really like the look of the Jester set.

Sadly, never get the chance to get those...
Re: Kingdoms Battle Packs
Why? Are they sold out already?
Re: Kingdoms Battle Packs
I don't know... somehow I missed their release date (here in Greece) or they never came (which is rather rare from happening.)TClone wrote:Why? Are they sold out already?
