LEGO Star Wars Microfighters Sets & 75044 75046

Post by Toys N Bricks » Thu Nov 21, 2013 4:27 pm

A new LEGO Star Wars line know as Microfighters will be launched in 2014. Six sets will be released and each one will contain a minifigure where the figure can actually be seated on the mini vehicle. Thanks to Hoth Bricks for the news.

LEGO 75028 Clone Turbo Tank
LEGO 75029 AT-AT
LEGO 75030 Millenium Falcon
LEGO 75031 Tie Interceptor
LEGO 75032 X-Wing Fighter
LEGO 75033 Star Destroyer

In addition, pictures for two other LEGO Star Wars sets have also been revealed. What do you think of the new LEGO Star Wars 75046 Coruscant Police Gunship and 75044 Droid Tri-Fighter? I don't think we've had Coruscant Gunship before so this is a new set, but we sure did have a few Droid Tri-Fighters before.

The microfighters look pretty cool! The X-wing is the coolest IMO. I wonder what the price is going to be, my guess is $12 - $15.

This was my first thought. They look kind of fun but are not a must buy. Maybe if I have a coupon or some rewards points that are going to expire I'll pick them up on the cheap...and then after I have 1 or 2 I will get sucked in to buying them all.

These are adorable. At last, I'll have a Millennium Falcon! The X-wing could use a longer nose though.

I am really disappointed with 75046 Coruscant Police Gunship selection of minifigures. Seriously...another Anakin. I haven't been collecting that long and I already have 3.

It is nice getting Asoka (don't have one yet). Wish there were more troopers

Well he is the whole reason for the horrible trilogy, so he should be in the sets.

Love the little ships, if they are $10 or less I'l be very happy.

I am not super thrilled about the minifigures in this wave of sets. They are ok, but nothing I am getting really excited about. Too many from the 3rd movie (my least favorite)!

I am hoping that the summer sets are all based on the 4th movie, or at least the original trilogy. All my favorite sets have come from the original movies.

Like the microfighters and I am not a fan of licensed sets. Hopefully I can pick these up cheap on clearance in a few months like the planet sets. I have a feeling they are going to be way overpriced.

In overall, the design wasn't bad. However, I am not sure if it was a good idea to include flick missle at microfighters set. It was looking packed.

For some weird reason the microfighters remind me of asian knock off lego sets if you know what I mean. But I do like the xwing, it looks like it has an astromech droid head behind the minifig.

I believe it was brickfan that stated they will be $9.99. I like the MFalcon. They are a bit strange looking with seats for the figures but I would like to modify them. They look like fun. I won't be purchasing them all but I may purchase several if I can catch them at a reduced price. They should be a hit with young fans.

I just showed these to my 7yo boy and he pronounces them awesome. 'Can we get them?!'

These remind me of the planet sets, which appear to have a similar set of pieces and also a minifigure so I would be surprised it they were more then $9.99 MSRP.
