I will be adding to this as I find more info to put in. For now I've mainly used the original CUUSOO blog and new Ideas Blog for the information.

^ No prob. I was interested in getting the entire history straight in my head and figured it might come in handy for whatever reason here.

I've just added an entry denoting the date that the first shots of the official 21110 "Research Institute" set were unveiled.

^ Not a problem!

First post updated with additional entries for July 2014, all of August, September, and October.

I was just thinking, it will be interesting next April when a whole slew of crusty projects are culled due to the 365 day time limit instated on all existing projects when LEGO Cuusoo turned into Ideas. There are currently 9081 projects gathering support and I'd imagine at least half of them will be removed on May 1st, 2015.

Well today it was revealed Doctor Who is delayed until January 2015 for that review (Because those sets will probably only be DW, Wall-e and Hubble) so we are getting a Birds set (Weird being there is a Creator set) and Big Bang Theory which is just weird because it's weird.

Wow! First time that two projects are selected for production from the same review period at the same time!

The Bird Project will be interesting. Lots of potential for great colors, for sure. TBBT will probably be quite popular - there's a lot of room for cross-pollination between fans of the show, fans of LEGO and fans of science. Can't wait for these both to be available for a day or two in six months or so!

As for speculation for the next round, it's too bad that X-Mansion and Wayne Manor are up against each other. It doesn't mean they won't hold one or both of them over, but it's unlikely that either will get the nod, much less both of them in the same review.

Ghostbusters HQ is probably out of the question. It was part of the original proposal that became the ECTO-1 set and was purposefully left out to make it more affordable.

Wall-E seems like it would have a pretty good chance. LEGO obviously has an ongoing relationship with Disney, and he's pretty well-loved.

Three Star Wars-related projects in the same review - similarly to X-Mansion/Wayne Manor, they would be directly competing with each other for dollars. I'm thinking of the three, the Lightsabers are the most likely candidates, since the other two will be far more expensive (and the AT-AT has been done before, and is likely already slated for an update outside of Ideas).

Keeping with the tradition of real-world scientific equipment (Shinkai, Hayabusa, Curiosity) the likelihood of Hubble Telescope being selected is pretty high.

{first post updated}

This marks the first time that a review period yielded no new products at all. The previous time that a period ended up selecting none of the proposals under review (June 2014), Alatariel's "Research Institute", which was held over for further review from a previous period, was announced as a new product.
