Coming Home (medieval village scene)
For Local Challenge 8 in Lands of Classic Castle. Challenge: "Build a scene depicting either your character or another Lenfel solider returning home from War. The focus should be in capturing emotion, not extravagant Landscapes/buildings!" I used only subdued colors in this build to help add to the serious feeling of war and its aftermath. The houses have full interiors.
Some of the soldiers coming home have been injured, others are physically unscathed, and many never return at all. For some families it is a time of joyous reunion; for others, a time of mourning:

Any C&C appreciated

Wow, another great build! I especially like how you leave the roof tiles up a little to make the shingled effect.

I like your houses. Each of it was symmetric in its colors and style. The layers at the top of the house made it outstanding. I would keep these houses together with other buildings at the medieval village.
I am curious would the roof top fall apart easily as I could see the tiles did not completely stick to the plates?

@OLDLEGOKID: Thank you
@legohunter: Thanks, glad you noticed the different symmetries of the houses. The roofs won't fall apart unless you actually touch/bump the roofs knocking the tiles off with your hand, otherwise they are quite stable
