Welcome to Mom and Pops Winter Sport Supplies and Java the Hut. Mom and Pops carry your basic snow skis, snowshoes, and an assortment os skates for enjoying the great outdoors this winter. When you feel like warming up after a good workout Java the Hut has you covered. The Hut specializes in Cappuccino and Arabica Blend coffee, served with attitude for a ridiculous price that is almost criminal. But when your frozen to the bone or need an energy boost to tackle the trek home it's worth it!

Just what you need for a cold winters day.

Lots of over priced snacks to go with your coffee.

Go get Mom a nice cup of coffee deary. Now run along.

I happen to live in a place where it's not uncommon to have 6 + feet of snow on the ground. These two market booths are exactly what is needed when the roads are closed, power is out, and you have to leave the house from your second story window.

I really like the other entries so far. This contest was fun. Thanks Toysnbricks for hosting it.

Edit:
I noticed that Mom and Pops booth was one stud too wide at the top so I tweaked it so it was legit.

Model Name: Tule Time
Created By: SEK527
Description: Carl, a former thief who targeted jewelry & coin shops, is now a model citizen. After serving "Hard Time" in the big house it's "Tule TIme" in his small booth as he sells off the tools he used in heists. "Tool" is spelled "Tule" as a pun on "Yule". Carl is selling wrenches, drills, shovels, sanders (tested on a board in the back) & chisels. Two customers are trying out a jack hammer & a saws all.

As a throwback his favorite wrench is mounted in the shop's sign between "Tule" & "Time", festive lights are shaped like faceted diamonds & the gold disks on the sign & booth's sides resemble gold coins.

I'm new here - so hello! And sorry for my english.

My entry is winter medicines stand.

Come to us when you finally catch a cold after a ride on the carousel in winter. Or when you start to vomit after this ride.
But it is better to come to us before entering the roundabout. And protect yourself from the cold and from vomiting. Christmas and winter are nicer when you are not sick.
We have medicaments for lovers of herbal medicine and folk medicine.
We particularly recommend:
- Pickled bats for vomitss
- Dried frogs for fever
- Dust from the bones of vampires for sore throat
- Pitted snake eyes for hay
- Extruded spiders cough.
If you are disgusted by these specialties, we have honey with a little venom at each of the symptoms of a cold.
You'll also find some herbs. And werewolf nails. However, we do not know what they heal.
Of course, we can find something for you, if you like chemicals. Some tablets or syrups. But we do not like them. They taste awful. This lemon or raspberry flavor, blee ...

Introducing the Brauhütte and Cookie Cottage!

The Brauhütte features two German beers on tap along with nice big pretzels in case you want something to go with that tasty brew.
At the Cookie Cottage you can get cookies or brownies with hot cocoa or coffee to wash them down.

Good stuff, people! My entry:

Fish Fry Ice Fishing Shack

Now that he is retired from commercial fishing Gill has set up a nice fish and chip shop --Sharkey's-- in town. During the Winter Market he has a stall (made in part using wood and materials from his dad's old ice fishing shack) representing his restaurant. He does a fish fry every evening during the run of the winter market using fish he catches daily at his own ice fishing shack. That's Gill up front taking orders and making sure people see the sign promoting the special of the evening - a fish fry plate that comes with 2 big pieces! His daughter, Louise, wants to learn the family business and is doing the grunt work. That's her in the back, cleaning and scaling the fish, prepping them for the evening's fish fry.

Winter Festival Ring Toss!!!

Post by kellyrae103 » Thu Jan 15, 2015 9:09 pm

Another game booth has opened up in the winter village, THE RING TOSS!!! For a small fee purchase a bucket of red rings and try your hand at getting one around the glass bottles in the middle. Although it looks simple it's deceptively hard. A single ring on a bottle wins you an awesome stuffed animal prize! It looks like we have a winner!
