Re: [Entries] LEGO Avengers Contest
Here is my entry to the Toysnbricks LEGO Avengers Contest.
(Hopefully you can see these images above)
My entry is based on the scene in avengers age of ultron when thor leaves mid-film to explore the vision he had from Wanda Maximoff's magic.
I feel this scene stood out due to its foreshadowing of what is to come and finally telling the Avengers the Infinity Stones are showing up.
Here is the links to the images if you can't see them.

The Flight of the Avengers
Our take on the opening battle in the snowy forest of Sokovia.
Thank you for doing this contest TnB. This gave a chance for my two boys and I to work together on something we really love. Here is the link to the Flickr page. Enjoy! https://www.flickr.com/photos/63589673@N03/ The Enemy - Hydra The Goodies - The Avengers

SLO-MO
Here is my submission for the Lego Avengers Contest. I wanted to recreate one of my favorite moments from the film, the moment near the beginning when the scene slows down and creates a splash page type moment like one would see in the comics. I used approximately 1000 pieces and 12 minifigures and one big-fig. It took about 5 hours to complete but many hours designing it in my mind. Best of luck to all the entries, this alone was a lot of fun to be a part of.
Please have a look at all the photos if you'd like :)

Re: [Entries] LEGO Avengers Contest
Hello, first time doing this so if something doesn't work that's why.
I got the hulkbutster set and thought it could be improved so did this to it, the main reason why I am submitting this is so everyday builders can build this unlike some of the other larger, more impressive looking ones.
The second image shows a base I made, it was originally just meant to be on my book case but saw the contest and thought I'd enter.
sorry for the low quality image, my phone is not called a camera for a reason

Hello,
I've been working on this for a month as really my first ever non-instructions creation. It's not super impressive, and took a fair bit of cropping to hide the rough edges.
Note that the Loki is using a Thor head (for the better expression) and Falcon hair for the short hair.
While I don't have the flair for detailing the room, I tried to just stick with the basics and that was sticking to the color scheme of having the green and yellow steps and seemingly black floor. Now having done it, I now know that the black floor takes a really bad picture. I have the Hulk Smash Lab Hulk, but when my son got the Avengers 2 Hulk a few weeks ago I switched for it for the better color.

Title: "The sun's getting real low."
Piece count: somewhere between 350-400 pieces

Note my name here is StClair but my flickr is ponderingzissou
While there were a lot of great action scenes in Age of Ultron I really loved the moment when Black Widow calms Hulk. While building a large hand was something that I had never done before I thought it would be a good challenge. I I wish I had more of that particular red and regular green bricks. It would have been fun to have extended both of their arms outward even further.
I now realize I don't have nearly enough green parts.
The first two photo's are my entry. The last and third is merely a detail shot of the Hulk's hand.

Detail of Hulk's hand (without Black Widow's blocking most of it). Much more challenging than I thought but I did enjoy it.
Good luck everyone. I've enjoyed checking for new entries. I'm glad that I don't have to vote. It would be very tough to choose a favorite. Thank you for the contest opportunity.

What better to calm down Hulk than a glass of milk and a bedtime story?
