Pretty sure it's the spikey helmet that Snake wore in Space Police 3.

there are no spikes on it.
Ill have to look at the book again.
But i thought it has a small opening for the eyes, and what looked like a earpiece microphone.

Oh, I was thinking the Creature build for some reason. The Robot build helmet is a standard race helmet in silver with a sort of visor that was used in Power Miner sets I believe.

Has anyone gotten the MBA "tip of the month" from the Lego Store (advertised on the calendar)? Is it a card or something you take with you or does the associate demonstrate? I haven't been in the store in a few weeks and not on the date it was marked on the July calendar.

Hrm... I was in the West Nyack, NY store this past weekend, but forgot to ask. I don't know how they can tell if you're an MBA subscriber or not. Maybe I'll make my way to the NYC store sometime this week and ask.

Maybe with VIP account?

That's assuming all MBA members are VIP members - which would be logical extrapolation, but not necessarily true.

I bet they don't really care either way. BUT they could give MBA members a "membership card" (not that I want another card to carry around) or put a sticker on the back of the VIP card (once I got a "club" sticker).

I really like the skateboard for this kit.
What skateboard? Haven't built mine yet...
I meant on the website when you pick kit 2.
How do I pick Kit 2? Do I have to download any pictures first?

I've asked at two stores about the Tip of the Month and no one knew what I was asking about, even after I showed them the calendar blurb. It was also advertised for July, so strange.

It's a card. I had grabbed the July one a couple of weeks ago. It's posted on my flickr feed. I'll try and nab the August one later this week.

I asked about it, and the associate at the store knew what I was talking about. They had them in a drawer behind the counter and just handed me one.

Cool, thanks! Hopefully they'll still have a few of last month's card as well as this month's card next time I'm in the store.

I also received the July card last week, but didn't have a chance to take a pic and post it so I'm glad sidersdd posted it. I also got a sheet with alternate building instructions, I haven't had a chance to look at it closely, but I can post it if people are interested.

My store had a huge stack so I would just ask.

Yes, I'm interested in the alternate building instructions. Was that obtained at the store?

^^ I think these alternate instructions were provided at the July Club Meeting that was themed MBA. I did get it in the store. They gave it to me when I asked about the Tip of the Month for July.

Those are the same instructions as the PDF made available on the MBA member site.

Would be cool to get them as a physical sheet, though.
