Went back to some Walmarts today, grabs a few more, $16 Castle Gatehouse (47% off). One had tons of castle Ambush at $8 each and I'm sure they will reduce them further as I've never seen so many overstocked at one location.

While these are not clearance prices I did think they are decent deals for anyone that may be considering purchase of them at retail prices since each of these are below retail price. I've seen some of these prices at Amazon recently but I hesitated because I didn't want to pay shipping or place a $35 order. With Wal-mart they can often be ordered ship to store free of charge. I was able to score a lone 6862 Superman vs Power Armor Lex for $11, 45% off not bad.

I found an Arkham Asylum at a local Walmart that someone must have returned from buying online. The most they would do was 10% off. I know that they sometimes will do a deal with a giftcard along with the purchase on the website. I really debated about it, but went ahead and got is since I saved so much cash with the Target 70% deal and my kids have wanted it for a long time.

Today at my local Walmart I found the unexpected gathering set 79003 and scanned it to see if it was marked down and it scanned $15! Needless to say, we purchased it. However, they had the castle forest ambush still marked at $11. Walmart clearance just doesn't make sense.

Ave B and Foothills had the additional 50. Something that sucked though, I went back to ave B and they had the Sail Barge and Rancor Pit on the sale isle, however since the lady wasn't there doing the markdowns they were priced at regular price, had the sets been there earlier she would have marked them down for me like she did the Gunship

I was driving by a Walmart so I stopped by and actually found a few good deals. Lego City heavy lift Heliplane for half-off at $22.50 and TMNT Lair attack for half-off at $25. I also got a Chima Speedor for $3.50. The best deal was a Castle Gatehouse raid for $11. Not sure what the msrp was, but I was positive it was at least half-off. This was the first time I have found a lego set for 50% off or over at Walmart in a looong time. Probably will keep checking them only if I happen to be driving by since the deals are way too random to go driving all over town.

I found some new markdowns between 3 VA Wal*Marts tonight.

Old Forest Road:
Found 1 Spider-Man: Daily Bugle Attack for $25 and bought it.
Also had the pretty new Lavertus' Twin Blade for $13, so I grabbed one of those.

Roanoke:
Had some of The Hobbit: Mirkwood Attack (the spider set) for $21.

Bedford:
Several Superman: Smallville invasion sets for $35 instead of $50.
Also had Iron Man 3 Malibu Mansion attack for $30.


Seems like Wal*Mart might be starting a new clearance wave, so you might want to check them out.

Mandalorian Speeder with Robo-Maul was $17. 1 copy, grabbed it.
Corporate Alliance Tank Droid, $13 as opposed to $20 - got all 3.
Creator set, the Treehouse $21 instead of $30. Got 1, 3 left.
Also had Eris' Eagle Interceptor for $25 not $35 and Wakz' Pack Tracker for $21 instead of $30, but I left those alone.
