Target Easter Clearance 2015

Post by craan » Mon Apr 06, 2015 8:20 am

Swung by Target to see if they had any easter poly bags on clearance. Happened to find one in a random place. (City garbage man or whatever it is) 1.79. was the only one in the whole joint.

Just not my day. Checked two Targets in southeastern Mass. and can't find any Easter (trash man and golf) polybags! I know I saw them before Easter...maybe there's a bigger rush before Easter than there is V-Day to grab small things like that? For Easter baskets, whereas V-Day, to me, just equals chocolates and flowers? Anyone else having trouble finding these polybags?

They were gone from my Target more than two weeks ago. Target even removed the shelf tag.

I do believe Target is getting fewer holiday items, as i see less and less every year.

Don't forget to check at the front of the registers, where they have other polys.

I found three just mixed with the regular priced ones. Found 2 within the Mixel's box at the Lego section and 2 more on a return cart; 7 city polybags in one Target!
Check the girl toys sections, specially where the small items baskets are located, they may be mix in there, finally check where they have the card games section another place where they have the baskets or bins.

After a long day at work some employees will put the "go backs" anywhere they think it might go and be done with their job. :-) So look around.
Good luck!

The 2 stores in my town were down to 2-3 polys of each. I think the slim pickens is due to that they were out on the shelves for 5-6 weeks, unlike the 2-3 weeks for the V-days polys. I think they start with 60 polys of each per store.

2 stores I went to only had a few and a couple of the friends bags so I got 2 and I was lucky to find 2 garbage guys at the second store I went to.

This applies to Meijer as well, picked up 5 @ $1.74ish. They also had a bunch of the creator tiger polybag

Does anyone have the DPCI? I remember seeing 2 of these and they have been sitting at the one target for close to like a month. But I bet they are probably gone now.

From the "Polybag Availability" section

$3.99 30203 Friends Mini Golf set (DPCI 086 02 3260)
$3.49 30313 City Trash Man (DPCI 204 00 0251)

A lot of my Target stores had a bunch a month ago but are wiped out now. I picked up 2 of about 10 garbage man at one and 3 of 4 golf sets at another. The other two targets near me were already wiped out a week ago. Supposedly, one a ways down the street had 20 of each yesterday. I'm going to chance the next discount before I hit that store.

Yeah. A full box. Would anyone like to work out a deal and have them where I make a minimal amount for my efforts?

A manufacturer's box - those cardboard ones with the purple bar across the top that say "TOYS" with TLG's logo stamped on all the sides.

Found 2 trash man sets by the front register and 5 friends golf set in the Easter section. Seems like they are scattered throughout the store.

I found some Friends polys but the Easter area was pretty decimated. No leftover Peeps or plastic eggs. Seems like Target is really scaling down on inventory. The day before Easter some of the shelves were cleaned out.

Anyone know when they will move Easter clearance to 70% off, if there is anything left?

Depends on the store. I had one store do candy at 30% and then 50% off on Halloween the week after it, but another one was 70% off everything within a week.

However there is no other holiday for a bit, they might not be in a rush. I would check back Thursday for the normal clearance day.

Target normally (I say that loosely) follows a 3-3-2 clearance after holidays. First day after 50% (non food) 3 days later 70%. Three days later 90%. Two days later is the dreaded salvage. Food seems to be 30-50-70 salvage. Today or tomorrow will be the next markdown. Good luck to all.
