I found that most of the Harry Potter sets do work for the B1G1 50%. Haven't tried with other sets, but they can be checked by adding 2 items to cart. I think it also applies to other toys. Also, Harry Potter sets are already discounted with 10% off. You can use coupon code A9N8U4H to get an additional 15% off.

BTW the code is valid as one per Email address and doesn't seem to apply to an entire order, more like one set only. Still a really good discount overall.

Arggh seems like The Burrow is both outta stock and not eligible for the 15% off coupon (at least from what I can see on the mobile version). I wanna get that and possibly Hagrid's Hut. Currently still waiting for my Hogwarts Express I ordered from BN.com a few weeks ago.

This may help some. The 50% off part is 50% off the list price. So, for example, the Star Wars Brickmaster "book" is list price of $29.99. Sale price is $17.54. Add two to your cart and you'll get one for $17.54, and one for $14.99 (50% off $29.99). You're not getting 50% off the sale price. Add the 15% off coupon and you'll get one for $14.90 (15% off $17.54) and one for $14.99.

Sadly it seems pretty standard practice for BN.com to cherry pick which sets qualify and which do not, usually in the sneakiest, ad hoc, arbitrary way possible. It's particularly sad because BN.com ships pretty much everything free :?

One can only hope that eventually BN.com gets their stuff together to form a sale or deal that applies to all LEGO, and not just 3 sets that we have to figure out.

BN.com probably was planning to make all lego disqualify from these deals (after those 40% off any item coupons) but harry potter is new so they forgot to add it I bet. When that disclaimer is added, nothing will work like coupons or promotions. :(
