Wow - THAT'S a great sale. Snow started here, can't venture out. I've already been to Target and the LEGO Store already. Oh well!

I did pretty good at Walmart today (Alma and Mt. Pleasant MI).
32 x 32 Green base plates for $2.50
Midi Star Destroyer for $16
Creator 5892 Sonic Boom $29.50
City Airport $69
and 2 lego watches for $7 ea.

They also had power miners claw catcher and Lavatraz for 1/2 off, portal of Atlantis 1/2 off, and Tie Defender for 1/2 off.
They had the new mini-fig (or not so mini) alarm clocks marked down to $9.50
Also Zurg was marked down to $12.

Not all of the sets at Walmart were marked at the clearance price, I had to check some of them on the price scanner to find out they were on sale.

I didn't get to my local Wal-Mart until 10PM and they still had quite a few of the $7 Watch sets (mostly Count Dooku, though I did see several Yoda's I saw a Buzz Lightyear watch, a Woody, an empty Darth Maul box and a few power miners and space police sets), I got a $16 Midi Star Destroyer and there were a lot left and I got the Space Police Lunar Limo which was also $16 and there were several of those left. Also at on of the local Targets (off Madison for those in Sacramento) there were as many as 10 or more of the Troll's Mountain Fortress marked down to $85, one had a Clearance label that said $41.98 but it did scan $85 when I checked the price. Not sure if a customer had changed the clearance price tag, if that is an up coming price reduction or just a mistake. I wish I had known the clocks at Wal-Mart were down to $10, I would have gotten one, I know they had a few left I just didn't think they would be so cheap. Oh well

I just got back from two different Wal-marts. One of the stores had a few clearance items left and the prices were clearly marked. The other had a large selection of clearance sets, but nothing was marked so I had to price check just about everything on the shelf. One of the best unmarked deals was the Fire Helicopter $16, Seaplane $4.99, POP Battle of Alamut $39.99....all POP 50% OFF!

So all of the watches are $7? I was at walmart but the tags only listed Yoda and Woody at $7.

Nothing but dust on the shelves at my walmarts. I have a feeling it was because of x-mas and not because of clearance.

Stopped by my local Wal-Mart. None of the sale items were marked, and even an employee with a scanner gun kept showing the prices as full price. But... at the regisiter, items rang up at discount.

I picked up a few watches (Yoda, Darth Vader, and Luke in his black Jedi outfit.) The LEGO aisle was pretty bare. I saw the big Atlantis set on sale, but I didn't really need it. They had series 3 minifigs, so I grabbed a few of them. ($2.97 each) I'm still having a hard time deciphering those dots.

Come to think of it.. is the watch the only set that has a flesh tone Luke in black jedi outfit? I should try to get that set.

My walmart adventures still have yet to produce any series 3. :(

Yes, I think that the Luke is a pretty rare figure. They only had one at my Wal-Mart.

They had the box at walmart from what I remembered the other day. Apparently at walmart they are easy for peeps to get into and just take.

I've been to 4 walmart stores in the past 2 days. I've found two battle of endor sets, two echo base sets, the midi star destroyer, the fire helicopter, and the sonic boom set. I was real glad about the last one I went to today. Hidden away in the Christmas/gardening section were 3 PoP battle of Alamut sets. Sticker mark down was $59, but the scanner showed a price of $39.50. That's a hard to beat price. Non-Lego related, my daughter was thrilled to find the barbie glam jet marked down to $49.
