Also Magma Monster is 51% off. Not a popular theme, but half price is still good for a lego set.

Can anyone tell me why MMV is so popular? I never liked it and never understood all the hype!

There must be something I'm missing o_O

It's 1600+ pieces for $100 with rare colors. It's pretty much the best parts pack you can buy.

Medieval Market Village is sold out. They also added a little note next to it.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.

Back in stock. Just nabbed one. Very nice as this is one of those sets that rarely sees a sale on Amazon.

again, i'm not quite sure why so many folks pay to get this for $89 when you can get this for $75+tax if you buy 2 right now from tru.com. you could have gotten it for $75 for one if you buy it a week ago during the $25 off $100 purchase sale.

okay, ppl might say you save tax when you buy from amazon, but you need to come from a 20% sales tax state before $75+tax > $89. i can't think of any state that has 20% sales tax. someone name one pls.

it's not like it's sold out on tru.com either. i just checked 5 mins ago. still available. strange.

TRU currently has a limit of one per order for the MMV. You'd have to add another $100 set to your order to get the discount.

I bought MMV with the Space Shuttle at TRU to get the BOGO 50, free shipping and the Harry Potter thing I didn't really care about. Another option for those who wanted both of these sets that are rarely discounted on Amazon or at Lego.com.

Pretty sure MMV was sold out during a majority of the 10/20/40 dollar off promo.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Can someone correct the minor error?

It is not 1601 minifigures and 8 minifigures. It should be 1601 pieces and 8 minifigs

Its a nice addition to the collection plus the price-per-piece ratio isn't bad at all...

And there is something your missing! - the set! - just kidding... :-D

I'm the same way - there are some sets that I just can't understand why some ppl buy them...

But everyone has there own taste and buying habits - so Lego on... :-D

He's talking about the TNB front page write-up.

Oh, good to know. I never read the front page - just the forums.
