 I just ordered the Emeral Night from TRU for $103 not including tax. I'm probably going to keep it sealed and send it back.
Just bring it to your local ToysRUs - they will refund your money to your credit card (or your original payment method).
Not sure if they will...I tried to return Fire Brigade once to my local TRU (long story, made 2 orders because my first order I forgot to put my apartment number, but both orders ended up coming) but they couldn't since they didn't actually have the item number in their system or something, I would have had to get it mailed back to the warehouse. Ended up just keeping both. Also, hold onto the one you got from TRU in case you can't get one from [email protected] don't know how much stock they have for S@H. If you do end up getting one form S@H, THEN return the one you got from TRU.

I would definitely try to get the Emerald Night and Winter Toy Shop if I didn't already have the two sets. Public transport is an alright set but if it was at regular price I wouldn't even consider it ($140 Canadian...are you kidding me?) For $75 however...I might pull the trigger on that.
The package from TRU probably won't come until Monday. It's too bad I already bought the toy shop at full price. I have been looking at the transport station for quite awhile now, and I might finally pick it up. Let's hope these prices will be the same for both the USA and Canada.

ah, even if it does go on sale on the Cdn Lego S@H, it will probably be about $100CDN anyways. (25% of $130)

Not worth $5 in my opinion (although you don't get the points and possibly the 2/2 Holiday set)

Well in that case, not a very good deal.

so does this stack with the 10% off, free set and free shipping deals?

If so here's a nice deal scenario
emerald night and Public transport 74.99 each
total 149.98$
which is over 99 so you get the free set and you get 10% discount for having 0ver 149. That would take it down to 134.98
plus 5% in VIP rewards + 5% if you pay with a discovercard, taking another 10% off for a total of $121.48

MSRP for the 3 sets is 210, so 121 is is like 42% off msrp

Yes, all 3 offers are stackable like last time and no coupon is required.

crossing my fingers for a deal on the Pet Shop. 25% off, plus Holiday Set 2/2, free shipping, and the vip points would be nice. Not holding my breath though...

WHAT. I bought that set full price like 3 weeks ago on S@H because they had the double VIP points thing.

Just wondering, is this sale online only or also in-store? And also is there any sort of price protection with Lego S@H? I was thinking if this sale also includes in-store, I could bring back the set I ordered online and get them to adjust it to 25% off.

You also mentioned that all sales offers are stackable...so for that list of sets...is it 25% off the price, then another additional 10% off of the sale price?

So, are these prices in CAD or USD?

EDIT: Stupid question. Of course it is in USD.

Give them a call. I'm sure the'll be nice enough you give you store credit.

They only mentioned LEGO Shop. But I think it will apply for instores as well. All offers are valid Nov 25th – 28th or while supplies last. I'm assuming that these sets are about to be discontinued.

It should stack as they told me Offers Combinable – No Code Required. If I remember correctly, people were able to stack last year's promotions with the on sale items. I will double check with them just to make sure (don't want to bring any disappointment).

25% off prices on sets will be based on regular USD and CAD prices. The threshold to receive the LEGO Shop Promotions for FREE Shipping ($49), Holiday Set ($99), 10% off ($149) will be the same for USA and Canada.

This makes the VIP Shopping Event even more worthless. Would have been nice having these "Brick Friday" deals for the event.

I am disappointed with the selected items up for sale, and as mentionned before, 25% off brings cdn prices close to US so you have to spend over $150 to get that extra 10% to make it worthwhile but unfortunately I already have multiples of the large sets and sw sets that's on sale, except the flagship - maybe time to get the second one.

Thanks for the responses, Ice.

And also Legobrandon thanks for the suggestion, I'll give them a call either tomorrow or Friday (sale does start Friday but we are aware of the sales anyways by now...) to see if they're willing to offer me anything like a price protection sorta thing. Not holding my breath though. I'd be more surprised if they were willing to give me the discount.

I thought I was getting a deal on a damaged box flagship at 20% off a week ago and now it's 25% plus the free set so I feel your pain. I thought I read something from LEGO themselves that the early VIP sale was going to have the same offers as BF but apparently not. Another Emerald Night is veeery tempting!

If one were to lets say order a flagship and it's $135 in your cart, then you pile in some minifigures until you hit $150 - Would that 10% off that kicks in @ $149 be off the entire order and drop it back down to $135 making the minifigures(or whatever you added on for $15) 'free', or would the 10% apply to only one item?

It does feel bad to have the buyer's remorse feeling. But I think you guys can all return it as its within 90 days (not sure about damaged sets though). For the price protection part, I believe its only for 14 days or something. So start returning and rebuying those sets.

Here's Shop at Home Return Policy
All returns or exchanges must be made within 90 days of receipt of your order and must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number. To obtain a Return Authorization Number, please call Customer Service at 1-800-835-4386 between the hours of 8:00 am – 10:00 pm EST Monday through Friday and 10:00 am – 6:00 pm EST Saturday and Sunday. Returns of orders that do not include a Return Authorization Number may be subject to additional processing time and delay in crediting your account. Return address information can be found on the reverse side of your packing slip or on a separate sheet included in your order. All refunds are made in the original payment method. For orders purchased by check or money order, a refund check will be made payable to the “Ordered By” name. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. We recommend using a shipping method that can be tracked and insured for your protection.
Though, the item you want may be sold out during the sale so just keep that in mind. Unless of course, you go to your store when it opens or stalk the Shop at Home site right when the sale starts. ;-)

Great, just got the Flagship last night from my local Lego store. I didn't care for the Xmas set but the 25% would have been nice.

By stackable, do you mean 25% + 10% ?

Called today, and asked in the most awkward way if I could get some sort of price protection (I really had no way of wording it correctly), they said no (which was no surprise). Yes I can return it in-store, so I might get that done. It is a lot off but might be a bit of work since I need to find the packing slip...

Does anyone know if these sales will start exactly at midnight 12:00AM EST?

I am just wondering - have an early job - if one should be on the website at this exact time to get some of the Online Exlusives (specifically 10199, 10194 and 10210) or if they would still be avaliable at 6:00 EST of that day?

Just wondering if anyone has past experiences with these sales?
