I got lucky when they had the death star on sale PLUS the -$25 over $100, as well as the sale on Imperial Shuttle + 20% off.

Total for both came out to 573 after tax with free shipping!

Recently went into sell some baby clothes our son had at the local Once Upon a Child store and while we were waiting for them to sort thru the clothes, my son found an entire a bag of what looked like a bunch of loose assorted legos in a bag for $4.50 in the used toy section there. We bought it and took it home and it turns out it's the entire Ninjago Dojo Set which normally retails for about $65 here!! (The only thing missing from it was the 3 minifigures but everything else, even the spinner tops and all the weapons were in there!)

I'm almost tempted to drive around to our used baby stores just to check and see in their used toy sections for more of these finds!

I went to a Target around Wash DC hoping to find a discounted Prince of Persia set. There were none, but to my surprise, several Flo's V8 Cafe (Cars 8487, MSRP $59.99) sets were on a clearance shelf at the end of an aisle. The set I picked up did not have a clearance sticker, so I scanned it. I almost fell over when it scanned for $14.50. I went and got a second set and scanned it to double check. $14.50 again. I bought the four sets I could find, making it the best deal on Lego I've ever gotten from a retail store. I feel quite lucky.

Went to my local toysrus where I got the fire brigade and emporium at, and bought the Battle of Endor + Queen Anne's Revenge.

I got 1/2 off Battle of Endor...and the manager accidentally took off 40% from Queen Anne's Revenge (~$50) instead of $40. He realized the mistake and said "oops, I don't feel like redoing it. Oh well!" and let it go. I paid $150 total for both sets AFTER TAX!

Not really a huge steal but I found 6 grab bags at the LEGO store today. I always get a little kick when I see them on the shelf. One had some tan 2x6 bricks printed with LEGOLAND FLORIDA. I looked and there are a bunch on bricklink from all over the country. Where do those originally come from?

Those are from the August monthly mini model build for kids. It was an Adirondack chair in honor of Legoland FL.

Ordered the last 8110 Unimog @ Amazon.fr the day before yesterday. MISB set(120 EUR) + UPS Express Saver courier(20 EUR) to Australia=140EUR total. Best price ever seen.
Scheduled to arrive next Wednesday, super fast.

Any idea on how could Amazon shipped UPS so cheap? I checked the UPS website and it quotes me at least 350 EUR for the shipping cost alone from Paris to Australia with express saver at its weight. I just paid 20 on Amazon.

Since Mill Village Raid sold out before the funds were available, I pulled the trigger on Alien Conquest Earth Defense HQ at Amazon, since they're matching the TRU Bricktober pricing - used my $25 credit, paid $41.08 total! WOOT!

Finally made it to TRU yesterday for Bricktober week 1. Grabbed Battle for Geonosis at the 25% off price, plus got my free Ninjago shrine and princess magnet. The wife gave birth on Thursday, I was starting to think I'd miss the first week. Cashier said I was lucky that they'd gotten more princesses in. I told her I was lucky indeed with my second son.

Lougheed Mall. Boxes were bruised but seals still intact.

Just came back from Lougheed, but no sight of a Frigate. They did have plenty at the New West store though. Was the Frigate at the LEGO section?
