One good use of the 20% coupons in-store are the advent calendars. I picked up the Star Wars for under $40 tonight (after tax), which is a great deal because they almost never go on sale before the Holidays.

BN seems to have slowed down with their coupon promotions lately...

I don't think so, it's been pretty steady for me about one every 3 weeks.

Its been a long time since online coupon codes were available that can actually work on some lego sets. The ones that you have to print and take to the store does not help anyone outside of US unless they travel to the US. Even if there were a proliferation of coupon codes distributed, the exclusions have to come off.

Does anyone have an online code that works for non-LEGO items? Looking at a couple of BRICKMASTER books.

Looks like B&N is switching to unique codes for members now. We should be getting the 20% off coupons tomorrow via email.

For non-members, here is a 15% off link:

Just a heads up, Amazon has had star wars advent for 39.99 for a little while now...that's free shipping and no tax in most states.

(personally I have my 2011 star wars advent waiting to be opened this year and I plan on getting the 2012 at a large discount (50% off) after christmas. That seems to be the best way to go...if you have the willpower to put it on the shelf and wait for a year)

Just a heads-up - I received a 20% off one item email coupon valid this weekend, 12/8-9, only. On-line coupon code did not work with LEGO but I had no problem redeeming it in-store. 20% off plus 10% members discount plus a $5 Kid's Club rewards certificate = 40% off MF Mad Scientist and his Monster, the last MF set I needed. :-D Title is: "This Weekend Only! 20% Off One Item Plus FREE Headphones with NOOK HD or HD+" so look out for it!

20% off coupon ONLINE for B&N. Some of the Hobbit sets work with that coupon. It's a bit marked up the US retail price but for Canadians, for example with "An Unexpected Gathering", with shipping and tax, it still turns out to be about 25% off.

Finally some new BN coupon codes but unfortunately 15% off only but they do apply to select new 2013 (like star wars) and late 2012 sets (like hobbit). Check your emails since they are customer specific codes.

If you're a member of Kid's Club, they're also offering $5 off if you use your Mastercard, but again the code is member specific, so you have to look for it in your email.

Do they apply to certain sets in store as opposed to online? None of the Hobbit sets I've tried will accept the coupon. I might try phoning it in, I thought someone posted before that that will work.

They worked this morning because they did not have the exclusion statement. I just went in now and they added that statement to exclude coupon discounts so you were too late.

There was also 10% off certain sets like the rancor pit which brought it back down to msrp of 59.99 then 15% off that, came out to $60 shipped to canada. Did not buy it in the end though

If someone has a code they aren't going to use, I would love to use it! My B&N has some PoTC Lego at 30% off, plus I have a membership for another 10% off. A coupon on top of all that would be awesome.

It would have to be a link to a printable coupon though, not just the online code.

Thanks!
