Current B&N Coupon Codes

Barnes and Noble is my new favorite store for buying LEGO. Used my 30% mystery coupon tonight in the store along with my member discount to get the Mines of Moria for just over $50.

Last year almost all of my LEGO shopping was done at Toys R Us, but not this year with their jacked up prices. While Barnes and Noble might not have the large selection that TRU has, for the sets they have I've been able to pick up every single one I've wanted at a nice discount. For the sets that they don't have, I visit the new LEGO store that opened in my state or watch for sales at Target.

It definitely pays to have a B&N membership, wait for coupons, and plan your LEGO shopping around their in store inventory.

Thanks again for maintaining this thread. As the list of codes is getting longer, should the EXPIRED ones (which appear to be most at the moment) be removed to make viewing the current ones easier?

I put the current valid codes in blue to help people see them. I have thought about just deleting the expired ones, but for some odd reason wanted to keep a record of the ones that expired. I'm not sure for what purpose though Maybe to see how many B&N codes I've used. I do kind of think a history could be useful for stats or info later on how often these codes are issued.

I will try to clean it up tonight and maybe move all expired ones to the bottom and keep the valid ones clearly at the top in blue.

I'll take other suggestions as well.

Ahh, I see that now that you point it out. One hiccup though... The blue of the links (even expired links) fights with the blue of the highlights. So maybe it's just me, but having current ones blue alongside new/old links makes it even more confusing.

Maybe use a different hihglight color? Or if you want to keep the record, maybe divide the post into one "current" and one "expired" section, so they're not all mixed toghether. Sorry for the pestering.

Well, I found this forum one day too late for now. Picked up some stuff from B&N, including the Skiff, using old gift cards I never thought I would use. They also had in stock he hoth imperial troop builder set. Both for $17. I can't complain. I will definitely use this forum more often.

It probably expired on July 21 0:00 EST. Short lived. :(

However, I'm sure that there will be better codes coming soon.

Unless it has a note on the page that says coupons are not eligible for that item.

Give it a few days and there will be other B&N coupons... probably somewhere in the range 15-20% off for non-members and 20-25% off for members. No need to panic!

Didn't a 30% off coupon come around at this time? Hopefully if it does come it won't be until around August--I have a few gift cards that are yet to be claimed (and I want to use)

I updated the first post to fix it a bit based on feedback. All current codes will be at the top with expired codes at the bottom.

Other suggestions are welcome.

Unfortunately that seems to be a members-only code, based on the error I get when trying to apply the code (being a non-member) and the resulting fine-print:

"This coupon may be used once online at BN.com for each new, valid and current Barnes & Noble Membership purchased between April 30, 2012 and July 4, 2012."

I thought both members and non-members were using it, but I moved it to members. I did try it w/ a non-member account and it seems to be members only.

L8U7K8B is for a VISA payment. You can also use gift cards. You just have to put a visa in as a payment, then enter your gift cards.
