[B&N] Buy 1, get 1 50% off - 10/12-14

Barnes and Noble is having a buy 1, get 1 50% off educational toys from October 12-14. Members can get their 10% off in-store as well.

Also there was a 20% (one item) Friends and Family coupon issued for this weekend. I think it can be combined.

It is valid on-line and in-store, but the 10% membership discount only is available in-store.

I think it works on all LEGO sets, but maybe not Architecture. Last time in March, I bought a Friends and Creator set no problem with the deal. No coupon needed, it just rang up.

Based on a trip out to Buffalo today, the bn at boulevard square had no lego architecture studio set, but all other architecture sets available. I had to go to the transit road location to pick up my studio set with the 20% coupon. I wish I had seen the BOGO coupon else I would have waited to go tomorrow!

as for other sets at bn at boulevard square, nothing I would have bought with the BOGO 50% anyways except to try it on maybe the sailbarge and imperial palace if it worked.

1 sailbarge
many old sith infiltrators
1 rancor pit
1 headhunter
few misc small sw sets
usual assortment of city sets, hero factory, etc
2 city and 1 friends calendars
a few planet sets from series 1, 2, and 3

as for toysrus, any ontarians heading down, nothing there worth gettig at BOGO 40%. either out of stock or only the highly marked up sets were left (there were 2 battle of hoth for $60 - you end up getting each for $48 which is only $2 less than the msrp of $50!!) still cheaper than canada if you can get them at 25% off.
also beware of traders joe, its located beside the bn and the parking is and will continue to be chaotic as their grand opening was today.

Arrrgh they don't have the 79111 Constitution Train Chase online! I've been looking since it came out and have yet to see it go on sale! Has anybody found that one for a discount anywhere?

Picked up 2 x 75005 Rancor Pit and 2 x 79008 Pirate Ship Ambush sets.
I love these B&N deals, but its been almost a YEAR since the last one!

I hope you didn't get those online even though you asked about the Constitution Train online.. It lists Rancor pits at 99.99!

There are quite a few mark ups. Be careful.

I think you are confusing people because pirate ship is not available on line, only for store pick up or in store so stackable only in store. This applies to many other lego sets too (this message is for international buyers looking to buy same sets)

I guess the pirate ship available for shipping for a brief time this morning? its been available for in store pick up only prior to the sale and now as well, I am too late.

Must be - I didn't bother checking earlier. I've been really trying to cut down on my LEGO purchases lately, so I haven't been monitoring any of the sites. All I can tell you is that I checked around 7am this morning and they were in stock!

EDIT: Also, I did receive a "Ready to Ship" notice from the store, so apparently they really were in stock!

A good deal are the Master Builder Academy sets. They are listed as Lego Mastermind on the website. It's not listed on Amazon, so the likelihood of a better deal is low. They only have 20217 and 20216.
