I didn't get a minifigure pack at all last week even though I spent more than $60 on my LEGO purchase. They told me they ran out, is it possible to show my receipt from last week to get this week's minifigure pack at TRU?

It's always awesome to have some free bricks, however, this Joker Bot is just... not my type.

Toys'R'Us is also running a sale on 3183 Stephanie's Cool Convertible for $9.99 this week. Which comes out to $0.08 per piece (130 pieces). It's not listed with the other Lego items on sale this week as part of Bricktober.

This was the link to the week-2 minifig pack:

It's not showing up on-line for me either, now.

I stopped into my local TRU because I'm still trying to pick up the CMF series 11 storage case (which they didn't have). Anyhow, I noticed two things. One: Palpatines Arrest was 25% off bringing it down to $89.99 (MSRP) and Two: there were 5 boxes of the week 2 minifig pack on the shelf with a $19.99 tag. Apparently the promo isn't working very well; surprised?

Maybe if TRU didn't jack up the prices during their "sales" I might be tempted to buy.

TRU is the only store around me with Monster Fighters still in stock, but they're all 15% above MSRP!!!!

I emailed Toys R Us about the promo online and they said it was in store only. I pointed out that it did show up online the day before but they said sorry and insisted it was in store only again. I would have bought Palpatine's Arrest from Lego directly at that point but they sold out last week so off to Toys R Us I went.

I get there, and they have big signs all over about the free minifig 5 packs. Palpatine's Arrest has a big sign that says $89.99. I go to check out and it rings up $98.99... Turns out the local Toys R Us likes to price gouge on Lego even more than usual, they list the original price as $131.99. I point out that the sign says $89.99, they verify it. The manager overrides and puts in a mark down of $42 dropping it from $131.99 to $89.99. The computer then took off 25% dropping it to $67.49 (the price the set should have been in a just world where it wasn't a Toys R Us exclusive). So they tried gouging the customers and ended up gouging themselves instead.

Im so tired of TRU getting the good exclusives and Lego seemingly not minding them gouging.

Not only that, but Lego then limits what people can buy from them essentially forcing people towards these jokers like TRU.

Well... :-D I stopped into a different TRU yesterday. Still trying to find that series 11 CMF storage case which they still didn't have. Why are they the only store that carries these special edition cases? I did however decide to see what I could use my $10 promo gift card that expires 11/2.

I saw 6 boxes on Palpatines Arrest on the lowest shelf tagged at 24.99!!! So I grabbed one and went to check out. The girl scanned it which came up as $89.99 but she saw the tag so she called the manager to check the shelf. He came back and told me that his night crew was really messing up lately. He said that he couldn't sell it to me for $24.99 but offered to give me 50% off for the mix up. I agreed so he punched it into the register and left. When the girl touched the button to complete my transaction and accept payment something happened where it took another 25% off one item. She told me "I have no idea what happened, but it doesn't matter."

In the end I got
$119.99-74.99 = $45.00 (TRU price - managers immediate markdown). then I got
$45.00-11.25 (25% off item)
$33.75x7% sales tax = $36.12
-$10 promo gift card
=$26.12 out of pocket.

The funny thing is that at the bottom of my receipt it says YOU SAVED $11.25
