Any lego. I put three different sets, an architecture, a city and a technic in the cart and he showed up as well.

It's not just FAO Schwarz, but also Toys R Us. TRU bought FAO some years back...May 2009, apparently. Notice that TRU's "our exclusive" sets also appear on FAO, and LEGO sets have the same marked up price.

They have so many still at S@H and instore that they have to distribute it elsewhere. We can tell how popular this promo is, even the scrappers and hoarders stay away. Something Lego should take note on to improve their promos, make me wonder who came up with the idea, I bet my life anyone of us on here could come up with a better promo than this one.
