I would guess 5-1, Canucks win.
I am sure Vancouver downtown will be over-crowded tomorrow. Wishing Canucks win the cup, so that everyone could go home safe, not like what happened in 1994. There are too many haters at the street due to HST issue, Unaffordable Housing problem, ......bla bla bla......

It'll probably be a one goal game considering the way the goal-tending has been going so far. If the Bruins score early they'll be taking the cup home. If the game goes to the third period the Canucks will probably put one in the net to finish it out.legohunter wrote:I would guess 5-1, Canucks win.
I don't see the Canucks scoring four or five goals though.
Re: Who is watching the Stanley Cup?
I think it is unlikely the Canucks will score 5 goals in ONE game...during this series the most they've scored is 3.legohunter wrote:I would guess 5-1, Canucks win.Legobrandon wrote:Any score predictions fro tomorrows game? My guess would be 4-3 OT, Canucks win! :D
My prediciction is that the team the scores first wins. I don't like to predict an actual score in fear of jinxing the team.
The Bruins really need to "bring it". The games the Bruins have lost to Vancouver have all been close:
Game 1 1-0 Canucks
Game 2 3-2 Canucks
Game 5 1-0 Canucks
Games 3 and 4 the Bruins blew the Canucks away 8-1 and 4-0. Game six was 5-2.
GO BRUINS!
Re: Who is watching the Stanley Cup?
Hmm, what happened to home ice advantage?
Re: Who is watching the Stanley Cup?
4-zip Bruins, 1:50 to go!!!!!!!
Re: Who is watching the Stanley Cup?
Whooooo Whooooo!
In all seriousness, it was a great series! I wasn't sure the Bruins could do it, the Canucks did play a good series, but came up a bit short.

Congrats to the Bruins, they played really well. And for the Canucks, we'll just have to wait until next year.

Police fired tear gas to clear the chaos

Re: Who is watching the Stanley Cup?
All of the Skytrain/Canada Line Station TV Screens had warnings telling people to avoid the downtown Vancouver area as police worked on the riot. I'm just glad I got home before the riot got worst. You can even see black smoke coming from Downtown at Main Street Science World Station. :?
Translink announced at 9:30 pm that all Bus Services to Downtown Vancouver will be temporarily suspended. Only Skytrain and Canada Line will continue to run in the Downtown core.
According to many news sources, the scene is quite ugly and dangerous like burnt cars, smashed windows, and fights with the police. Many businesses like The Bay, London Drugs, and Bank of Montreal have been looted.
Totally not the Canadian Canucks spirt. :(

That does not sound fun. Congrats to the bruins.

In Honor of My 500th Post ;)
Wow the riots in Vancouver sound CRAZY! We went in for the parade with 1 million other people
Here are some pics:
Chara and the Cup:
I'm not 100% sure who this is but look at the crowds!
End of the parade by the Boylston St. Fire Station. We had walked back to the car and the Duck Boats were heading back to the TD Garden:
Ok now I'll move on to cheering for the RED SOX!

Re: Who is watching the Stanley Cup?
Which is odd as the Garden is the other way. :)
I kinda wanted to be in Boston for this but, I had a yardsale to do and I'm not that great with crowds like that.
Re: Who is watching the Stanley Cup?
Cool, Stanley Cup parades are always fun.
Is the John Hancock tower observatory still closed to the public?

Re: Who is watching the Stanley Cup?
Well the parade was driving down Boylston St. the wrong way and the easiest way must have been to continue down Boylston to Mass. Ave and to get on Storrow. Boylston St. is a one way and it seemed very strange to me that they were driving from down by Arlington St. towards Mass. Ave.Mantisking wrote: Which is odd as the Garden is the other way. :)
