Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon

Post by Ice » Wed Jun 29, 2011 11:21 pm

Anyone watched the new Transformers movie? What do you think of it? I just watched it today and think its another well done series loaded with action as usual.

However, I still like the first Transformers movie more though. For some reason, I feel like the "first" movie is always the best.

Is the third one better than second one?

I don't how it could be worse, unless they maybe had the Autobots and Decepticons sitting around debating amendments to the Republic Senate. Oh wait.... that was another franchise destroying decision.

I've actually taken a vow of ignorance when it comes to the "Shape Changing Robots" movies (I go so far as to refuse to call them "Transformers"). This didn't hold true for GIJoe: Rise of Cobra, which I watched on Netflix On-Demand recently. Either it looked better/more true to the original to me than "Shape Changing Robots", or GIJoe didn't nearly define my childhood as much as Transformers did.

I will wait for the DVD. First one was great. Second one has the same formula as the first. There was nothing special about it. Same with Iron man.

It was better than the second (which I walked out on during the final fight scene because I couldn't tell who was fighting who and Megan Fox holds no appeal to me) but that's not saying much. Patrick Dempsey gets props for being the best actor in it. He plays a really good evil guy.

Playing with LEGO when I can. Where does the time go?

Better than the second one and better than I thought it would be. We double dipped movies and this was the second one so that was a bonus cause my gf is a big fan of Patrick Dempsey.

It was the best of the trilogy but I still think the second one had the best fight scene of the three...The forest battle between Optimus and everyone else was EPIC...

It was better than the 2nd one but still confusing... So glad I saw it on Netflix and didn't waste my money.
