Mobile Frame Zero
I've mentioned a game called "Mechaton" a few times before on here. It's just about my favorite game. Most of the things I build are for it. The tenth anniversary is coming up and it's getting a new edition. This edition is getting a new name and a new face. It's also going to be crowd-funded starting March 5th of this year. If anyone is interested, take a look!

I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

May I ask why? Lego is one of the main components of the game.ncbarrett wrote:moved to off-topic forum

Re: Mobile Frame Zero
MFZ is now over 300% funded after mentions on Penny Arcade, Kotaku, and Metafilter. As of today there's still 20 days left to get in on the phenomenon!

Wow! Good show! Wish I had a concept I wanted to fund - KickStarter is pretty amazing.
I think that's the model that Cuusoo should adopt - a 'pledge for donation' as opposed to 'support'... it's a bit more real-world.

But not everyone has the cash to do so. If they used that concept for Cuusoo the fan-base would be dominated by AFOLs.

I'm not actually one of the people involved in creating the game, I'm just friends with them.vynsane wrote:Wow! Good show! Wish I had a concept I wanted to fund - KickStarter is pretty amazing.

Maybe it'd give AFOLs a stronger voice in the hobby.Legobrandon wrote:But not everyone has the cash to do so. If they used that concept for Cuusoo the fan-base would be dominated by AFOLs.

So MFZ is at 553% funded with 8 days left to go and PAX East happening this weekend. I never thought it would get this far.
