Yep, LA is definitely going to win the cup this year, no doubt about it. They beat the top 2 teams in the NHL regular season in less than 5 games!

These are not the teams I had guessed to show up at conference final. I think I need a new pair of eye glasses.

I was interested until the Blues embarrassed themselves

Lets see if the Kings can sweep the Coyotes too. The last game the Kings lost was in the Vancouver series. They haven't really had a feel of what losing feels like so if the get to the finals and LOSE, their reaction will probably be priceless.

Well, the Kings killed the Coyotes and are going to the Stanley Cup Final. I have a feeling NYR and their crazy coach Tortorella is going to meet up with the Kings in the final. Time will tell.

So far, Kings did not lose any road game during the playoff. That's one of the chemistry helping Kings to build up the momentun and confident.

At 40 years old, Martin Brodeur still has lots of energy left to play for his 4th Stanley Cup. The Stanley Cup Finals will star on May 30/2012.

I don't think Devil can beat Kings.

Kings are going to win the cup in 4-0 or 4-1.

The Devils hold off elimination for tonight. The Cup was at Staples Centre, ready to be handed out to the Kings. But back to NJ we go...
My prediction: LA going to win at visitor ice and hoist the Cup. ;)

The Devils live for another day. Next game Monday. They still have a shot at this!

Wonder if this will go to game 7...

I wouldn't be surprised if it did. J. Quick is getting a bit cocky thinking his team can win in less than 5 games. Not anymore! I wish Brodeur can retire as a winner. :)dr_spock wrote:Wonder if this will go to game 7...

Finally, Kings demolished Devils at last night final battle.
What a blow-out game!? Kings laid back on game 5 for celebrating the championship at home ice. Obviously, all games were under their controls.
Now, I don't feel too bad that Canucks got eliminated at first round of Stanley Cup while they were defeated by the best NHL team.
NHL was over. Who is watching NBA Finals or EURO 2012? Too bad only TSN broadcasts the soccer games and I do not subscribe it's service.

I don't think all those penalties helped the Devils either.
No NBA or Euro for me. I'd rather be outside playing sports in the nicer weather than watching it.
