Dock from Japan floats all the way to Oregon

We've all see houses, cars, motorcycles to stuff as small as a basketball all drifting to the West Cost of North America from the 2011 Japan Tsunami Crisis. A dog was even found to have survived 3 weeks in the ocean!

But who would have imagined a 66 feet long, 19 feet wide, 7 feet tall dock? Thats definately not something you see everyday!

*The dock was found in a small town in Newport, a bit south of Portland.

I went and saw it this weekend. There were a couple hundred people looking at a large piece of trash. It's notable for the distance it has traveled and the situation but it's not really much to look at. I figure it was worth going to check out while I could since it's only 45 mins or so from where I live.

They say this is just the beginning, much more debris should wash up in the next year.
