Selling a little bit with Paypal - personal or premiere?

Post by Morgan19 » Sat Aug 18, 2012 9:25 pm

Quick question for the Paypal-knowledgeable...

I'm working on sorting some of my unwanted third-party accessories to sell: nothing major, just a couple batches here and there, but I've never sold items on Paypal before. So I'm doing some research on the process, fees, and so on when there's only a few sales involved. It sounds like people don't recommend the Premiere-level account because of the fees involved, and some other folks say it's best to use a Personal account if you're only selling a couple items here and there, but then there appear to be restrictions about what types of money you can accept (only PP-funded, not credit cards, etc.).

Could anyone who's sold once or twice (again, not looking for "career" sellers, just those who've done it a couple times) chime in on the subject?

(For what it's worth, I just checked my Paypal account and apparently it's already a "premiere" level, so I guess I'd need to downgrade to personal if that's the recommended route.)

Thanks, I appreciate any help...
