My PS3 showed green, yellow, and red flashing light when I tried to start the machine. I have done research over the internet, and I found out that the problem was due to overheated problem at CPU/GPU when Sony using poor material to build PS3.
I contacted PS3 support(which offered very poor customer service) over the phone this morning. Because the machine is 4 yrs old and out of warranty, they asked me to pay $129 plus for the service. However, I refused to pay because it wasn't my fault. Finally, no service has been set up. I was very upset and hang up the phone.
I wonder if there is anyone who has this experience before. Is there any way/method/better approach to make them offer me free service or new console below MSRP.
