I wonder why only some Star Wars (Yoda box) and some Super Hero (last year releases) sets are discounted and not all like the Chima sets.

Still 50%. Make me wonder if they are returns.

Maybe they received more stock from their warehouse?

These sets were 30% off the first round of markdowns. Now 50%.

Checked out two Target stores today to see if there were any scraps left. The first one had nothing left on clearance. The second store surprised me and I found several items at 70% off. This is what I purchased:

Ninjago Garmatron... $14.99 (3)
Battle of Smallville...$17.99 (2)
Star Wars AT-TE...$36.00 (2)
Friends Lemonade Stand..$3.89 (4)
Friends Lifeguard Post...$3.89 (4)

The star Wars sets were still ringing up at $59.99 but the cashier said he would reduce them to 70%. Everything else rang up at 70%. One thing I found if that the Target cashiers have the power to do there own price adjusting which is the exact opposite at Walmart.

I guess the Star Wars AT-TE is going to stay at %50 while I'm sure that most would have been cleared out at its current price, you were lucky to get it at 70%. I went yesterday and the AT-TE rang up still at 59 for me.

Went to the target in Welland and picked up their last sail barge that was on clearance for $74,99 but when she ran it up it came up at 44.99! Needless to say I was extremely happy!

Can anyone confirm whether the SW Gunship/AT-TE are now at %70?

Orillia Target has been picked clean. Nothing left but a whole shelf of the Hero Factory style Chima figures. ($5.99 in case you actually care.)

Target has actually advertised this time in their flyer (out today) that clearance toys are at 70% off so there will most likely be more people heading to the stores just to check things out. One of the items shown in the flyer was a Ninjago item.

With respect to Target adjusting pricing on items or giving an early credit for the discount, it depends on the store and the associate I think. You may get lucky, but the general rule (and Target policy) is they won't. Same as if you try to return a clearance item and "repurchase" it at a lower price. They will actually take your return, but it in the back, and not put it out on the shelf again for up to a couple days. This is meant to prevent people from buying at 30% off and then asking for the $ difference when it gets to 70% off. I can see how some people would try to game the system that way.

Hey Craig, funny how you sound like a CS clerk. Do you work at Target? :-D

BTW, although I totally understand their policy on clearance items, they should make it clear for everyone. Signs about "price adjustment" on the wall at the CS don't mention what's about clearance items.

Price drop also confirmed for Malibu Attack at $14.99, for LOTR Pirate Ship at $38.99 and of course for SW Jabba Sail Barge for $44.99 in GTA. In terms of price adjustment, it really is a matter of luck, depending on the sales rep. If you purchase it within last two weeks, most likely you will get an adjustment. Good luck guys.

Nope! I just tend to end up in conversations with CS clerks or employees at times and they feel compelled to tell me everything (and no, I'm not some crazy old retired guy either). I think it's cathartic for them during clearance sales to let it all out ;-)

My son is desperately waiting for the Jabba's sail barge, as I promised him he will have it for his birthday (in 2 weeks). Unfortunately I just found out about this crazy sale at target and now I think is too late !!!
Help me find one pleeeeaaaase!!! I can not offer to pay a lot extra for this set, but I am sure we can work something out... Thank you in advance guys!

Check Walmart also, they've been on reduced price there too. I think though, that you may have waited too long. Toys R Us still has it I think, but you'll pay full price for it there. Good luck.
